My Dad passed a yr ago today. A difficult 2023 followed with Mam's passing. I was lucky to have them as parents.
Holidays never boring. My Dad and I in Masada, Judea in 1978 promoting 🏴 with Mr Urdd t-shirt. It was Dead Sea and not the Med for Dad. Blue Guide never a novel!

So grateful for the exceptional care over the past few weeks for @RhoddersOwen’s dad. Staff at the Princess of Wales Hospital @CwmTafMorgannwg saved his life on Monday night. Amazingly, Degwel Owen has bounced back and is doing well! Diolch yn fawr iawn 🙏 #nhs

My Dad, Clive Betts, passed away this morning. My favourite photo of him. At Western Mail doing the job he loved - writing about a country that he made his home. 1987 - end of era at Thomson House; the typewriter was to become history! Cwsg mewn Hedd Dad. You did us proud.
