@phoenxrisin2 My thoughts exactly. I’ve lost everyone & everything bc of my illnesses due to those arnd me refusing to accept them & wanting to put other motives on why a once extremely active, vibrant person no longer was—bc that’s what active, vibrant ppl strive for, being ill & losing all.

I almost died multiple times, I’m at Baptist Downtown Jacksonville in Towers in room 407 at the ICU, it’s really not looking good for me. 😞

The nurses here are horrible too! Just putting on a face when my sons are here and as soon as they leave it’s just back to the crewl ways.

Baptist downtown has been absolutely horrible, screaming for days and days before I get someone to do anything about the pain. This is insanity here, constant yelling and screaming at me writing me off as a delusional patient while consistently not listening to what

I’m going through. Absolute insanity. I’m so sick and tired of everyone writing me off for my pain and it’s so much easier to say I’m delusional and ignore me, than help. I’m in the ICU now with total kidney failure and still almost nothing here! I’m tired of screaming and scream

Even being seen by kitchen staff, the v. nxt meal was cold/old/inedible (& -items). The biscuit=rock hard & ice cold. Touch it=crumbles into 1m pieces. A weird 1st-of-kind bowl of eggs on top of gross 🤮 taters were hard, cold & OLD! At this pt, it’s purposeful! @BaptistHealthJx

Sm. pleasures: My rm 3 floors down had a more unobstructed, pristine river view—this is more convoluted. Bridge on left=I-95N in Jax, FL—where it goes E-W for a tiny bit—before, in distance, it turns N…all the way to MAINE! & at that turn=start of I-10W…all the way to CALI!

So, lazy, unconcerned in their entirety @BaptistHealthJx finally had someone clean up the food at 130min, & when the girl asked if I was done, I told her it was was cold, OLD & inedible. She said, “that’s OK, lunch will be served soon.” What’s 20 HRs in hosp. w/o food, right!?!?

This is the GARBAGE ur feed ⁦@BaptistHealthJx⁩. They don’t feed u for 15/16 hr, then it’s COLD, OLD & INEDIBLE! GROSSLY!!! No caffeine, but sugar/creamer. Drink coke, anyway. Contacted dietary but was hung up on 20m ago. So no food/caffeine. In total= 20HRS w/o sustenance!

Not only is the food still here TWO HRS later, uncleaned up by the v. UNFRIENDLY RUDE food srvc prsn who hung up on me w/o me making a complaint, & never contacted me back, Wellllll, it’s still sitting here TWO HRS later. @BaptistHealthJx lives to poorly treat pts, esp. medically

Been another 100+MIN since this began & left unaddressed! Another 100min w/ NO FOOD! In a HOSPITAL! By lunch—if edible—it’ll be 20 HRS W/ NO FOOD/sustenance! & nobody cares—not even pt srvs! Stand up for urself , ppl—you deserve quality, & go up as high as u can! @BaptistHealthJx

This morn, a line came out & it took an hr+ for many ppl just to clean up the blood. So, now l’m waiting on a pick line team to stick what the nurse pointed to as a v. long needle that goes in an artery. Haven’t read on it yet, tho. Yikes! Dropping steroids= disaster, so far. 2/2

I never had anything get this black on me before but due to the vascular issues from #hEDS & #Dysautonomia, my vascular system is so bad, they have to find new IV lines many X day w/ many nurses, taking even over an hr long each X.

At least the male RN—whom I’d to chastise for being condescending, earlier—did come in asking why my BP was remaining sustainably high (in 120s). But that’s not really high for me. Tho, my resting is usually in the 40s 99% of my life. 5/5 #anxiety #gaslight #CPP #Opiates #PANIC

& it’s almost always purely physiological, at 1st, even entirely. & it IS life-threatening in so many objective ways. “But let’s give her what we’d give a child upset over a stubbed toe, rather than address a prob. that cld kill her by being ignored.” Then it’s gaslight 101! 4/4
