@Partisan_12 They rely on the fact that we literally do not know the role our government has played internationally in its short history.

POMPEO🤡: You don't let a radical regime close off the global economy by firing Shaheed missiles. Stephen Walt: You do know, Mike, that we started the war. POMPEO🤡: No, no, no. Stephen Walt: They weren't firing those missiles until Israel and the United States attacked Iran.

What kind of shitty country would deny student loan forgiveness but give January 6th rioters forgiveness and pay them $1.8 billion?

You reduce crime by eliminating poverty. The reason so called nice neighborhoods have lower crime rates is because people’s basic needs are being met. It is not because of police, alarm systems, or neighborhood associations. Poverty creates crime.

I try to ignore the folks who need to touch grass on TT, but there was this whole discussion about the amount of security for Caitlin…well, this shit is why. Her stalker got out of jail & a player is threatening violence against her.

New New York to Ohio to California, independent socialists are running for office across the country. Socialism has been rising in popularity in the past decade, with deep roots in the U.S. labor and civil rights movements. Voters see these candidates as offering a way out of the two-party system, endless wars, and skyrocketing cost of living.

Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would be called into special session over Memorial Day weekend and have to argue that military members and their spouses deserve to have their votes counted after they already cast their ballots. But here we are. South Carolina is trying to rush through new congressional maps while the election process is already underway. Military and overseas voters followed the rules. They requested their ballots. They voted. They sent them back. Now, because politicians want to change the maps at the last minute, those voters could have their ballots thrown out through no fault of their own. That is unacceptable. I have an amendment that says if the congressional primaries are moved to August, those military and overseas voters should automatically receive a new ballot for the new primary. That should not be controversial. But apparently, some folks are fighting me on it. Some days it feels like I am living in the upside down. It is Memorial Day weekend, and I am having to fight to protect the voting rights of the very people serving our country. If we say we support our veterans, our military members, and their families, then we should start by making sure their votes count. Standing strong. Holding the line.

Not enough people are talking about this. A Florida airport was renamed after Donald Trump. He walked away with the trademark, the licensing rights, and a deal that lets him profit off every piece of merchandise sold there. But the story of how he got it is even worse. County staff told commissioners that rejecting the name change would put state transportation funding at risk. DeSantis has already removed state attorneys and school board members who dared to cross him. That is the reality the Democratic commissioner who cast the deciding vote was living in when she made her choice: hand Donald Trump control of a public airport or watch Florida Republicans strip funding from the very people she was elected to represent. That is absolutely insane. Florida Republicans handed Trump a money machine and called it a naming rights deal, and the people of Palm Beach County never got a say in any of it. theguardian.com/us-news/2026/m…
