@WarMonitorClips Good riddance. This bomber and others like it were responsible for the deaths of thousands of German babies in the firebombing of Dresden and other cities-- an unspeakable war crime that America has never answered for.

@alphafox Finding live grasshoppers in the prepared food is a good sign in China. It means the prepared greens are fresh.

A light bulb has been burning for over 120 years at Fire Station #6 in Livermore, California. In 1924, Philips, Osram, General Electric and other giants formed a secret cartel called Phoebus to deliberately shorten the lifespan of light bulbs. They agreed that no bulb should last longer than 1,000 hours — otherwise profits would drop. The Livermore lamp outlived this conspiracy — it was manufactured before the scheme even began.

Not correct. The value of the cores was not set at manufacture time. The cores would have their values set either to a 1 or a 0 by simply applying 5V to the x and y wires simultaneously and the little core rings would be magnetized in that state forever or until it it received an opposite value - zero. This "half select" method of reading and writing little magnetic cores was invented by Dr. Wang of MIT who founded his own computer company in the 1970's -- Wang Electronic or Computers.

Before we had silicon chips, we had needle and thread? In the 1960s, NASA didn’t ‘upload’ code; they sewed it. To get Apollo 11 to the moon, skilled weavers (often called ‘Little Old Ladies’) literally hand-stitched software into physical objects. By passing copper wire through tiny magnetic rings, they created Core Rope Memory. The logic was beautifully simple: wire through a ring was a ‘1’; wire around it was a ‘0’. Because the code was physically woven, it was virtually indestructible. It couldn’t be deleted, it couldn’t crash, and it survived the intense radiation of deep space with just 72 kilobytes of data: millions of times less than a single photo on your phone today. It proves sometimes the most advanced tech is actually handmade.

The post is somewhat misleading because the total bite PSI value = total force divided by the area of all the tooths' sharp edges which are in contact with the measurement surface. So a killer whale with needle like teeth is going to have an exaggerated PSI value compared to mammals with lots of dull teeth like molars.

HOW LONG SHOULD AN OFFICER TOLERATE THREATS OF VIOLENCE BEFORE DEPLOYING A TASER? A 12-year-old boy calls 911 for help. Police arrive expecting to protect a child… but the father answers the door furious, screaming threats and telling the officer he’ll “put him into the ground.” In a situation like this, when a child is the one who asked for help, every second matters. The question is…when does talking stop and force begin? IF A FATHER IS THREATENING TO KILL AN OFFICER WHILE A CHILD IS INSIDE, SHOULD POLICE WAIT OR ACT IMMEDIATELY?

@elonmusk you're a liar and a fraud. Everything you do is to become the first trillionaire in history. Your SpaceX company, which is mostly based on federal funding, just acquired your own AI company(Xai) based on a fraudulent $1.25 trillion valuation. One of the worst business deals in history with no financial justification...musk is meerily a delusional actor in his personal portrayal as one of the world's most brilliant innovators. In reality he is just the product of massive government stimulus funds from the global Covid crisis of 2020!

Elon Musk isn't motivated by power or profit. His "epic missions" are fueled by a deep care for humanity and a desire to see human civilization thrive Whether it’s making us a space-faring species, transitioning the world to sustainable energy, or safeguarding us from the risks of AI, these goals were born from the superhero comics he read as a child At the core of his work is a fundamental goodness and a commitment to solving the world’s biggest challenges -Walter Isaacson

That's a massive Turkish kıymalı kaşarlı pide—minced meat and melted cheese baked on a giant round flatbread, served steaming hot with fresh salads on the side. The showy slicing uses a huge curved traditional knife for drama. It's from a spot in Cihangir, Istanbul (watermark CIHANGIR). Looks incredible!

@BTCSpend @kevinolearytv @grok The bitcoin network can fork to quantum computer proof key creation in one day. This price dump is a trap for non-technical holders who will sell on this irrational fear and provide low prices for pros. If bitcoin went to $1000 would you buy one? LOL

Bitcoin just took another brutal correction, down 50%, and no, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this movie. But something bigger is happening underneath the price action. Back in October when everything melted, Bitcoin got slaughtered and the rest of the market was wiped out, some coins down 80–90% and they never recovered. Why? Because institutions finally did the math and realized if you want 90% of the upside and volatility in crypto, you only need Bitcoin and Ethereum. Everything else is just poo poo coins, worthless, and they got dumped accordingly. I’m still long Bitcoin, but there’s a new concern floating around now, quantum computing. The idea that a quantum computer could eventually break the chain is making institutions hesitate, and until that gets resolved, don’t expect them to go beyond a 3% allocation. They’ll stay cautious, they’ll stay disciplined, and they’ll wait for clarity. That’s the reality.
