@CbarJRanch @DustinMashino 4.5 years already.

@DustinMashino No. It’s been here since the first of February

@corn_porkNbeans @schuelkecorn We will no-till some in if conditions are right, but we are not no-tillers. Going more corn on corn so that will be less and less. Also like the fertilizer in the ground vs laying on top so that hinders most no-till for me
English

@CbarJRanch @schuelkecorn This is so true. So many want to to be this way or that way and reality is it’s probably a little of all ways

Why is conservation adoption is so slow in agriculture?
It’s not ignorance. It’s economics…& time.
A lot of farmers aren’t just farming anymore; they’re working off-farm, running side hustles, doing whatever it takes to stay afloat.
Conservation takes management.
It takes attention. It takes time most don’t have.
And then there’s cost. Strip-till. Cover crops. Precision nutrients.
None of it is free to try, and none of it is simple to manage.
So what happens?
Guys go back to what works:
One pass. One plan. Fewer variables.
Not because they don’t care…
but because they assume they can’t afford not to.
Every farmer wants to leave the land better.
But first, they have to not just survive, they have to thrive.

@schuelkecorn @corn_porkNbeans Every year is so different now I don’t think you can have a one thing fits all over every acre anymore. Here anyway
English

@corn_porkNbeans I was in the nation's first CSP 20 years ago. Being paid for things we already practiced. (no-till, VR fert, sprayer shut off, IPM, etc)
I chisel plowed all my bean stubble last year.
Do what you need to do when you need to do it. Putting a label on something is silly.

I think the city in the distance is either Velva or Ellendale

This is the most inaccurate marketing slop I’ve ever seen 😂

@wapp56 @FixnandFarming We run e-20 in everything, lawnmowers, weed eaters, whatever. No issues.
English

@FixnandFarming Regular is better fuel…Better fuel mileage, doesn’t gum up as bad if it sits in a small engine, don’t have to worry about what vehicle it’s going in if it’s flex or not. That’s why… as most of my corn goes to an ethanol plant….

@RoncerayDan @Leatherman I just wish they made one somehow with bigger jaws
English

Because of their attention to customer service I’ll keep coming back. Everything made by man is breakable, these guys warrantee it.
Thank you @Leatherman

English

@jokreir I was gonna say. Even the red guys hate them.

@NOBLECREEK66 @Bradleychoquet2 Hard to believe it was 6 years already
English

@Bradleychoquet2 Wow me and my wife were just talking about it being the anniversary of Covid and this post came up in my feed!

I purposely get over and block the road about 1/8 mile before a turn like this so people don’t even think about passing for this reason.
I’m Sure some people think I’m just being a prick, but do it for this exact reason. Scary stuff.
Rob Carpenter@Thewhitesmoke
Who does this at an intersection of all places? Trying to save 20 seconds just cost this driver hours. Over 500 people die every year in passing crashes per @NHTSAgov. Most happen on rural two lane roads like this.
English

@CbarJRanch I haven’t actually seen one. I’ll take your word for it
English

@Storm5farms @nosteppy420 @DanAllred1 I had horrible luck with the edelbrock. Put a quadbog back on for awhile. Now have a brawler from Holley
English

@nosteppy420 @DanAllred1 Skip the quadrajunk and go for an Edlebrock
English

@LannieMielke @mattygilbert That 35-40 cents gets eaten pretty quickly, unless your close
English

@mattygilbert They draw from such a big area that it's hard to outguess the line there. It sure shows how valuable 35-40 cents extra means to everyone right now.
