@CbjWally24 @cmyers98 get Carter. Carter was such a malcontent they had to dump him ASAP. When he was traded to the Kings, the Jackets couldn't get full value in return. Why trade for a player if he won't stay? At that point trades become high risk, low reward.

I know it’s easier than said then done. But if DW truly believes in this team he needs to go get a star forward. It’s ridiculous after 25 years that we have only 1 forward EVER with more than 80 points (Panarin). Only 1 team with Lower (Seattle) #cbj

@JonHanf I kind of agree with you. But why is it teams like Dallas stars draft players like Wyatt Johnston and Robertson (23rd overall and a 2nd rd pick) and got 2 ppg players. CBJ have a drafting and development problem.

@CbjWally24 The years we’ve had the number two pick has been absolutely horrendous draft years. In a lot of ways, we hurt ourselves by either Deen just good enough to never get a good draft pick or bad enough when the draft is bad

@CbjWally24 Do your homework. They tried. Jeff Carter shit all over the team, he was too cool for Columbus and demanded a trade. Panarin took $19 million less to sign with the Rangers. Gaudreau was killed in a freak accident and DuBois pulled a Jeff Carter. Laine was another failed attempt.

Still even before JG13. No forward on CBJ was a point per game player until Panarin in 2017. That’s 17 years. That’s still really bad. And is a reason why we have never been competitive.

If there was a sniff we could get Nylander we should be welcoming him with open arms because we have had only 2 players in our history with his talent

@CBJ_Opinions I’d avoid Nylander, he attitude and our culture change should go together like water and oil. Same with EP40, the Canucks locker room was extremely toxic and if the rumors are to be believed, he played a role in that along with Miller.
