@topherdzgns @Redflag008 @Wizarab10 You’d have to really witness when these decisions are taken to be convinced,of course there’s the issue of slots given to senior admin staff like VCs and others ,then there’s the corruption part but when all things are being fairly done, highest scores gets picked first

Nope. Public Uni tend to throw you any other related than what you applied for.. I have people that applied for Optometry in my school. They passed the cut off mark for it and was given Anatomy.. Some denied admission.. I had a friend apply for medicine 3times and was given another course even after passing 3times. Bro finally did biochemistry.. If you went to public Uni. Especially a federal school you would know this is common occurrence then…

@topherdzgns @Redflag008 @Wizarab10 I went to a public Uni and the reason for this most times outside the corruption part is that the slots are few but applicants are too many, the admissions board then result to picking those with highest scores before considering other applicants with fairly high scores

@Ceasar20201 @Redflag008 @Wizarab10 Definitely, but honestly like my mom will say "I'm not paying millions for you to read books, I'm paying millions so you can be around children of people that also pay millions" Access is key! Remember Bill Gates was in the only school to have a computer in the US back then.

@JuliFBE @Redflag008 @Wizarab10 Trust me I know, in fact I know exactly how it is in both private and public because I am in the system,in a public Uni if you want to get the course you truly desire you have to score very high,it’s sad but it is the reality because of the population and limited slots

@imadetheartist @Redflag008 @Wizarab10 In a public Uni it is very competitive and so when you want to get a very good course you have to score very high because of the competition involved, let’s leave corruption out first, he got a 240 in a public Uni,that won’t get you a chem engine in a Uniben or Unilag

I have taken time to reflect before speaking on the ongoing conversations linking my name to the Ochanya matter. I strongly condemn all forms of sexual abuse and gender-based violence. No individual, especially a child, should ever be subjected to such harm, and I stand firmly for accountability, truth, and justice in all such cases. I have seen many things being said about me online, some of which are not accurate or do not fully reflect what actually happened at the time. I understand the emotions surrounding this matter, but I also believe it is important that narratives are not built on assumptions or incomplete information. For clarity, in 2013, I was a student in boarding school in SS2 and had only just gone on vacation after my mock examinations. At the time, I was about 12 years old and was not present at the location where these events are being alleged to have occurred. This has been established in the course of legal processes. I did not witness any act of abuse as has been suggested in some narratives, and this position has also been reflected in the legal proceedings connected to this matter. At the time of these events, I was not in a position of authority or control over the situation. Where I had concerns, I did not ignore them, but the way events unfolded afterward was not within my control. All relevant information and documentation supporting my position exist within the appropriate legal channels and can be made available where properly required by lawful authorities. I recognise that people are asking questions, and I understand why. However, I respectfully ask that conclusions are not drawn without a full and fair understanding of the facts. This experience has taken a significant toll on my mental and overall well-being, and I have had to seek medical and professional support during this period. I remain firm in my truth. I would never witness anything of this nature and remain silent. I understand deeply the importance of speaking up for what is right. This is a sensitive matter that has already gone through legal processes, and I will not be making statements that could misrepresent that process or reopen wounds for those directly affected. I ask for fairness, restraint, and compassion in how this conversation continues. Thank you.

@Ifeymidayo @InibeheEffiong @PoliceNG @benuestategovt I will not insult you like manywould like to but I will answer you, in the correspondence from the court document,Winifred caught her brother abusing the little girl and reported to her father, all she had to do was testify in court exactly what she saw but didn’t

The Ogbuja family is connected with a highly placed political figure from Benue State. Nigerians should ask the @PoliceNG and the @benuestategovt to explain their roles in this case. Political interference is a major reason why getting justice for Ochanya has been very difficult. This explains the apparent lack of enthusiasm by the police and the State Government in pursuing the case. The reason why Felicia Ogbuja (Winifred’s mother), was prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to five months imprisonment for failure of duty of care is because her prosecution was handled by a federal agency (NAPTIP). NAPTIP refused to succumb to pressure, but the same cannot be said of the police and the State Government. Murder and rape are State (not federal) offences. Felicia Ogbuja was prosecuted under a federal enactment (NAPTIP Act). Ochanya deserves justice.

@TalkswithAkwa @Whitfield_uche The bombshell is that the father has been one of the main reasons the woman has been pressuring the man,he is the one pushing her to make sure she gets her husband to bring money to send his sons abroad, something the idiot couldn’t do himself, also made sure she sold that car

My dad asked his friend, when your daughter sold her car for your family without her husbands consent what did you do as a father??? My dad said the man started looking at him like a fool. The thing is the story is way deeper than I wrote it here. If I drop more bombshell you people will be marveled . He simply married wrong.

I really do not like weak men, they suffer so much. So my dad was called yesterday by his friend to help him go settle his daughter’s marital dispute. (My dad has a thing in bringing peace in peoples homes). They got there, my dad inquired to know what transpired, so the young man said a lot of things but the main point is lack of respect . Marriage of just three years, the man is a big boy, built a very fine duplex for his wife and his son, bought her a car in her name but she sold the car without her husband’s consent. She sold the car because she wanted to send her brother’s abroad at all cost. After selling the car she got scammed, when the man found out she and her family begged and begged till he let go. After they made peace she started throwing tantrums that he has refused to help her family, that he has all the resources to send her brothers abroad but he has refused. The man said there’s no name this lady doesn’t call him, wicked, stupid, foolish, stingy and all. So much disrespect, she doesn’t cook for him anymore neither does she allow him to touch her again. The man said he is the one that feeds her family and pay their bills . Just because he told his wife to calm down that he can’t carry that burden right now, she drastically changed. My dad said at some point the man began to cry, that he vowed to make his marriage work and treat his wife so well that he grew up in a family where his mom suffered in the hands of his father. That’s the reason he vowed to be a loving husband at all cost……. Omo this story is long but men please be a good husband and a good father, but don’t be a fool. Don’t give room to disrespect. Don’t allow anyone to use you as a doormat.
