@NickHorob @Horob I've used TinkerCAD and SketchUp a decent amount in the past, but once I learned the workflow of Onshape, I would never go back. Just things like being able to chamfer and fillet everything are huge enhancements.

@NickHorob Could get a Prusa XL with a tool changer if waste is a concern? While there is more waste with the color changing part on Bambu, I find myself wasting a lot less now with these printers due with the run out sensors and auto swapping rolls. Are those pieces Gridfinity sized?

@Snake_redriver I’m certain your correct, I just thought it was weird as I had no personal relationship with this location or company and live in a different state with a different area code and there weren’t any questions.

@CedricCitrowske Never needed ID but the grain business is usually fairly personal from the grain buyer to office staff cutting checks. Yes that’s changing to phone calls & apps. Not that caller ID can’t be spoofed but if staff questioned an interaction they could always have you pickup a check.

Is it common for grain elevators to have no personal ID or security checks when selling grain? The other week, I called a 3-letter co-op to sell a small amount of grain. They just asked for my name, told me how many bushels I had, and sold it—no PIN, no security question, no text confirmation. It felt way too easy. In theory, anyone could call, ask about someone else's bushels, and sell them without permission. It seems like there should be more security to prevent this. Is this just how it works everywhere?

One lesson that I’ve learned over the years is that material things rarely provide long-lasting joy. If they don’t create ongoing experiences. The largest splurge I’ve made in my life is this pool with a retractable structure. It can be used all year, enabled by a pretty aggressive floor heating setup. I used to be somewhat embarrassed by the purchase but after the memories it’s made, I have no regrets! It’s created a lot of fun experiences so far. I might have to host an AgX pool party one of these days!
