What actual cutscene used AI? Don't say the pink paw heist one...because that literally is an inconsequential part of the game. Something people will most likely skip...and chiz before that isn't AI... show me a major cutscene that is AI and i will agree. Pink paw heist isn't an important scene; the billboard doesn't count either. Main story cutscenes are core components; this side stuff skippable or ignorable stuff isn't. If you think all these games besides NTE aren't using ai; I have a bridge to sell you.

The NTE devs did not lie about the use of GenAI. They openly said in an interview prior to launch that it was used but not for core game assets (just like Kuro and Hoyo) which remains true. The things that are allegedly Ai, as of this moment, are misc elements and billboards.

No my point was that it was a tool before an art and that Ai will go down the same route probably. You stated words and stories werent tools. Which is factually wrong; cause it started as a tool but evolved into an art. But seeing you immediately jumped to insults shows me you can't actually have any logical debates. So good day.

NTE Drama I’m writing this post because of the massive number of DMs from players asking for refunds over claims that the game was made with AI. The game wasn’t made with a simple ChatGPT prompt like “make me a game, please.” It was created by programmers, musicians, voice actors, artists, writers, and many other staff members who have been working on it for years. If it were truly a soulless project in such a competitive industry, it simply wouldn’t stand out the way it has. We can’t deny that AI may have been used for certain types of assets that do not represent the final product, but that still doesn’t fully address the underlying issue. As for an official statement from Hotta Studio, we have already reached out and are currently waiting for a response. This may take some time, as it is currently Golden Week in China, which includes several non-working holidays. Regarding the sponsorship situation and the denial of AI use, it’s important to clarify that each department operates independently. This falls under the marketing department’s responsibility in terms of communication with influencers, and the situation was not handled with complete transparency. We are currently awaiting an official statement from the staff regarding the controversy that has emerged. The situation is delicate. While the issue originated in Asia and was actually received fairly positively there, it has now escalated to the point where forums in China and Japan are discussing the controversy being stirred up by the West over what many consider to be a minor issue. Many influencers are protesting and have stopped creating content, which worries players who are genuinely enjoying the game, as they fear this situation could negatively affect its future. Writing was created for record keeping, thus it's original purpose was that of a tool. So I wouldn't call writing an art. People just decided to use the tool for a different means. Same with art, started with cave drawings which was just record keeping...thus a tool. Ai will go down the same path.

@Aki1650 @NTE_WL I think using AI for writing is the worst thing you can do. If you didn't take the time to write something why should I take the time to read it? Coding is different. Coding isn't art, it's a tool. Using AI coding assistants is no different than using an electric screwdriver.
