NexusMods has predictably censored my Male/Female mod for @Palworld_EN and stated that; "Implying that anything outside your gender view is wrong I.E "Female and Male as it should be" would be considered a violation of our Terms of Service." This wasn't the case. The description read; "This mod simply renames the character-creation body-type selector from "Type 1" / "Type 2" to "Female" / "Male" as it should be (with gender symbols)" simply implying that it should be normal. Yet they cited it as "Inflammatory language" To their credit they said they're not taking it down which is itself surprising, but censorship is STILL censorship and it must be called out whenever it happens. It IS uploaded to other alternatives like Ayaka and Steam because I know it's time there might be limited. The only reason Nexus is popular is because of discoverability of dependencies and other core mods not uploaded to alternatives. Wish it wasn't like that but it is the way it is.

Gamers deserve this for continuing to use these shitty sites. How did Nexus become so popular if it's so annoying to deal with?

Yep, it's depressing, but Nexus need to learn not to fuck with freedom of expression and speech. As others have commented in my main thread, a few years ago they would have removed this without question but they know any fuck up will put them on blast, but while exercising caution they still managed to fuck up 😆

@CelestialFlea @Pirat_Nation Yeah. I know that the mod always find a way to be obtainable. But the matter of fact that this controversy is lit brighter than 4th of July shows how much politics had gotten into gaming.

A Palworld mod that changes the character creation options from “Type 1” and “Type 2” to “Female” and “Male” is still available on Nexus Mods, but they edited the mod’s description after one sentence broke its rules. The original description said the labels were changed to “Female” and “Male” “as it should be.” Moderators said that wording could be seen as saying only those gender labels are correct, which they consider inflammatory under the site’s Terms of Service. The mod was surprisingly not removed.
