This statement misses the mark entirely and is rooted in misunderstanding and harm. A trans woman is a woman, just as much as a cisgender woman is. The word “trans” doesn’t negate gender identity, it simply acknowledges the journey someone has undergone. Claiming that trans women are “male” is an act of erasure, denying them their lived experience and identity. It is not a rational stance; it’s an expression of prejudice disguised as fact. The insistence on labeling people in ways that undermine their identity doesn’t come from reason it stems from a refusal to accept the complexities of human experience. True respect for others requires empathy, not rigid adherence to narrow definitions.
And let’s not forget: transgender people were once children too. You’ve stolen so much from us love, relationships, marriage, and livelihoods. What’s already hard for cis men and women is triple the hardship for trans people. Finding love, securing stable employment, being accepted in relationships these become mountains. Yet many trans individuals rise above with unmatched intelligence, extraordinary work ethic, and a deep well of empathy and compassion that far surpasses what your cowardice can comprehend.
Instead of recognizing this strength, the world try to erase us labeling us as “freaks,” reducing our identities to “gender dysphoria” or “mental illness,” and treating us like shadows instead of souls. You’ve weaponized ignorance into policy and mockery into cultural currency.
Why is it that, instead of fighting for the right to be called “woman” only to erase us, we haven’t fought for single-occupancy bathrooms, for beauty pageants and sports to have separate rulings? Instead, you pile fear onto us, labeling trans people as freaks who don’t belong in society. That’s the real conundrum: a world too afraid to accept, too selfish to create real spaces for all to coexist.
To those clapping for legal decisions that marginalize others your celebration is rooted in fear, not fact. Trans rights are not a debate they’re human rights. You may shield yourselves behind court rulings, but history never remembers the oppressor kindly.
And to the trans community: You are seen. You are sacred. You are unstoppable. Keep rising. The world may try to erase your truth but your existence is divine.
