The next generation of nerds will be able to read IPv6 addresses and will know what provider it is based on whatever the fuck part of an IPv6 address tells you that. Kinda like how we know generally what IPv4 prefixes belong to who.... I'm too old for this shit.

@coinbase I just got the best scam phone call. They used the wrong name on my account to talk to me. Tried to insinuate that my email was compromised lol. And then they called from a number with no caller ID. Then the dude hung up on me cuz I wouldn't fall for it. 🙄

@_MG_ Milestones are your friend, I've caught myself helping clients with their dreams that they didn't even really have the appetite for so just know when to cut your losses. When you do make sure you made it clear the IP is yours until they pay for it. But you know this. 🫡

I just received a job request. Difficult design reqs… a lot of R&D needed to know if it’s even doable. Plus a timeline that is impossible for even the easiest & fully complete design. Like 15% of what an easy rush job would need. 😅 I’d normally immediately turn it down, even if there was a retire-tomorrow sized budget. But this one… I have to at least try to do for teenage me.
