I would offer that Alex Pretti putting his body—with his hands up—between a woman and the BP agent who had just violently shoved her into the snow, offer stark competing visions of manhood. @dead_baseball One thing that is very obvious to a lot of people is the dodgers are built for the playoffs less than for the regular season. The dodgers played in a much tougher division than the brewers as well. Right now season winning percentage doesn't mean a ton, fwiw.

Fangraphs has Dodgers with a 71.2% chance to win NLCS. That translates roughly to a 60% chance to win an individual game. Assuming a team with a .574 winning % in the regular season beats a team with a .599 winning % at a 60% rate doesn't make sense.
