Literally was taught to put wheelchair users in a bathroom and then evacuate myself if there was an emergency at the museum. And for *some* reason I was the only one appalled. 🙃

Since this is reaching far outside #DisabledTwitter, I want nondisableds to know most emergency planning does not involve disabled people at all. The "plan" for us usually requires sheltering in place until the threat is over or waiting for first responders, & that's how we die.

I need to be off of parenting tiktok. There are too many rules. Like you should play with your kid get down on the floor, interact with them, but then also if they're concentrating don't talk to them. Y'all see where I'm going with this.
