Wow, Minna no Nihongo took down my video. So I made a video about the sentence 会社員ですか？ from みんなの日本語. I talked about how we typically don’t ask this question when we meet a new person. I explained the specific reasons why we wouldn’t say this and gave alternative sentences you can use in real life. I also talked about other native speakers’ views so that this wouldn’t be just my personal opinion. I quoted a screenshot of the specific page for context. But みんなの日本語 made a copyright claim and took down my video. I think quoting and offering a critique is 100% fair use. So this makes it look like みんなの日本語 really doesn’t like native speakers commenting on their weird sentences. I feel like this kind of attitude reflects something bigger: the authoritarian approach of the textbook that tries to isolate you from how the language is actually used by actual native speakers and dismisses perfectly legitimate sentences as incorrect because that's not what's in the textbook.

We survived near-bankruptcy, found product-market fit with Axie, listed our tokens globally, scaled to billions in NFT volume, and navigated one of crypto’s most high-profile exploits. One thing I consistently prioritized was maintaining a strong financial position. That discipline mattered more than I could have anticipated. Even after being exploited by North Korea, we made the community whole at our own expense and continued building. Leading the crisis management of that situation changed me. It was a stark reminder that some adversaries are more sophisticated, persistent, and well-funded than others. Not all competition is friendly. After what I’ve seen, I no longer take security for granted. Resilience must be built deliberately. That’s where I’m putting my energy: Defence. Onward.

they should be paying 100%, however they told me to sue them if i want to take it further i went to do so and discovered you can't sue the council online (you can't use the online system to sue any government agency) you need to take paper forms and a CHEQUE to the locla court i will be doing so, it's just a ball ache 😂

sadly this isn't the 1st time i've had tyres taken out by our roads last time the same pothole took out both tyres on the RHS of my car + badly kerbed wheels for common sense reasons i replaced all 4 (same tread + brand is v. important to me) cost £1k inc tyres, wheel refurb + alignment local council offered £80 😂
