🌟 The NHS waiting list dropped by a record amount in the month of March. ⬇️ It's fallen by 110,000. ✅ We're turning the NHS around through record investment and modernising services across the country.

Excellent news. Better than forecast. We have a lot to do to get more cash into families’ pockets but this is superb.

A very strong start to 2026 -significantly above forecasts. GDP/capita rose 0.6% in first three months of 2026 (@OBR_UK expected gdp/capita to grow by 0.8% in 2026 as a whole)

Thanks to the all Labour activists out campaigning today. We were elected to change this country, two years in we’ve got a lot done, and we’ve got lots more to do. The Prime Minister and the whole cabinet is focussed on delivering on the change we promised to the country.

As polling day comes to an end, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out to vote, volunteered, supported, knocked doors, delivered leaflets and kept things going throughout the campaign for our excellent councillors @tomhunt100 and @nighat_basharat Democracy only works because people take part in it, and today so many did exactly that. Whatever the result tomorrow, I’m genuinely grateful to everyone who gave their time, energy, and support over the past few weeks.
