🛢️ With conflict in Ukraine and the Middle East, oil and gas prices are unstable and have increased the cost of living. 🍃 Instead, we need to invest in reliable renewable energy sources, which will give the UK energy independence.

As a member of this coalition, we welcome the renewed focus on reforming the Office for Budget Responsibility. Reforming the OBR would be a concrete step towards supporting sustainable economic growth and strengthening the foundations of our economy.

We need to reduce plastic waste and increase recycling: ♻️ A bottle return scheme similar to Norway. 🍃 Phase out hard to recycle materials. 🔨 Extend the “Right to Repair” to white goods, furniture, and public sector procurement.

It is time to cut red tape to grow our economy by: 🏗️ Boosting construction by simplifying the planning system. ✂️ Making business easier by cutting unnecessary regulations.

🗳️ Our voting system is unfair and broken. 🗳️ It is time we created a fair voting system where the votes cast are reflected in the seats parties receive. It is time to @MakeVotesMatter

We need to streamline the planning system and invest in renewables. This will: 🍃 Speed up building new renewable energy source. 💷Lower energy bills. 🌳 Move the UK towards net zero. 🇬🇧 Secure our energy independence.
