On Oct-20th, my father ended his 8-year battle with Parkinsonism (PSP, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). He went away peacefully at age 73. My dad was a brilliant physician, scientist and a skilled carpenter. I wish I were half the man that he was. Rest in peace, Dada! 💙

I got 1.1 lbs of lamb expiring tomorrow for $2.97. My butcher was smart enough to mark it down as a differnt product (pork sausage). I have over 20lbs of lamb and beef in my freezer that I acquired for under $3. This is how one can survive on carnivore for less than $5/day. All it requires is some good planning and its actually cheaper than a SAD diet.

@CentristAllWay Lamb leg meat and lamb chops are relatively cheaper than a rack of lamb in my area. I can buy lamb leg for around $5 per lb; unfortunately, a rack of lamb isn’t cheap here.

You CAN buy a good mood. 🥩 I eat lamb 2–3 times a week because it’s packed with tryptophan (→ serotonin), B vitamins, highly bioavailable heme iron, carnitine, and healthy fats — basically brain fuel disguised as plate. Eat good - feel good 😘

My daughter's typical diet now after surviving on only carbs for 3 years because her body wasn't absorbing fats or proteins. The diet that, in just two months, has helped her A1C drop from 15.1 to 9.2. Has helped her blood sugars drop from the 400s to the 100s. Has helped greatly decrease her insulin use. And has helped her put on a little weight and gain strength. - Ground Beef - Sometimes chicken or salmon - 6-9 eggs daily, chicken & duck - Butter - Salt - Cottage cheese & plain yogurt - She also drinks Redmond Roots whey-based protein powder She definitely has a long way to go for sure, and her gut seems to be the biggest problem child. I have done some tweaking and trials with her diet and her enzymes and will continue doing them. I've tried no dairy, higher fat, lower fat, higher protein, more enzymes, enzymes spread out throughout meals, smaller meal portions, etc. But currently, her body is so damaged, and she's so frail and weak that even the littlest tweak to her diet, or even meds or insulin, can cause unwanted issues. But, she has shown improvements, and that's what matters.
