@the_salty_one_ They'll argue that Maori data needs to be kept with them as the Maori guardian of their sovereign data. Then the government and NGOs will decide to keep all data with them as they won't want it separate

The only way to see this, is that it's apartheid. Race based tech to serve race based data. It's fucking wild this is normalised.

@VeneziMMA @BlaineHenryTFL If you look at the work rates in compubox, you can see the fight is either Rico up 2 (per 1 judge) or even per other 2. The scoring wasn't that bad based on what was actually happening.

@BlaineHenryTFL I understand the point here, but not sure I completely agree. Usyk was not in control or comfortable in there. Rico wasn’t up 6 rounds like some people thought, but he should have been up at least a round if not 2 going into 11

@duggie8714 @DannyLM_91 You do know his kickboxing history was irrelevant to this? And that the accumulated damage from punches is a different kind of hurt than one shot kicks

@TeddyAtlasReal People are refusing to acknowledge this, when you slow it down you can see the ref is already going in for the stop before the bell rings, just because it rings during this process doesn't make it after the bell, his decision had already been made

💯that the bell had rung when fight was stopped, but also obvious that just as bell sounded the ref had already started to stop the fight. Take a look & Listen! #usykvsverhoeven

It’s not that boxing is merely a “different” sport from kickboxing it’s that it’s an inferior, more limited one. If Rico Verhoeven had been allowed to kick, he would’ve finished Usyk in two rounds. As we saw, same cannot be said the other way around

@Dannotcb @duggie8714 @DannyLM_91 Yeah he was wrong, but not as egregiously so as many are claiming. Taking a few big kicks in a five round fight early on is not as damaging as taking big combos when you are 11 rounds in. You're comparing how he recovers in a 5 round fight to one where the exhaustion is greater

@CenzoLL @duggie8714 @DannyLM_91 So you don't think that someone who is being punched/kicked and knee's to face/head and rib cage isn't as bad 4/5 or 6 punches to the face. Come on. I've watched boxing since Ali v's Forman. That ref was wrong to stop the fight after the bell had gone.

@CenzoLL @MonteroOnBoxing Clown he did. When the ref stepped in his field he reacted instantly on that. that shows you that he was still fully there.

@duggie8714 @Dannotcb @DannyLM_91 A different fight with a different ref? The timing of the bell was also very different, and he was dropped once, not dropped and then took a beating after

@Dannotcb @duggie8714 @DannyLM_91 I'm talking about getting dropped with a single powerful shot vs the accumulated damage over 11 rounds with the combo of five plus punches being what dropped him. Ita very fucking different

@CenzoLL @Dane_Giraud @mohammed_hijab OP was comparing boxing (combat sport) to kickboxing (combat sport) where the goal is to beat the shit out of your opponent. Your dumbass is trying to compare that to a team sport where you put the ball in the net. Fucking moron.

@Dane_Giraud @mohammed_hijab Ok but the point still stands that boxing is the inferior sport. Rico was able to outstrike usyk for 11 rounds straight. Whereas usyk would die in one round in GLORY.

@ASDChamp @dizzdadawg @DStyleBoxing Spitting out your mouth guard is an illegal stalling tactic and you get rightfully reprimanded for it. You can take a voluntary knee for a count if you need time, but you are praising cheating as veteran, and no, it's not one of the first things coaches teach

@CenzoLL @dizzdadawg @DStyleBoxing I'm not praising basic fight IQ. I'm telling you a basic fight in combat sports, and you're mad and *literally* writing fan fiction about me to make up for your anger. Ggs bro, go outside

As someone who's consistent about the mouthpiece tactic. I just gotta say. My fellow boxing guys, you praise the spitting out mouth piece tactic as a "veteran tactic" when boxers do it. I've always argued it's not some veteran skill it's an illegal way to buy time. But y'all can't be hating on it an sudden because the kickboxer did it
The Chivalry Guild@ChivalryGuild

The stoppage looks very bad in the shorter clip, but rewind it a minute and notice how much time Rico buys with the mouthpiece tactic after getting brutally dropped. He was going to get finished, either in the 11th or the 12th.

@alexleboxe Kickboxers transitioning to boxing are always super awkward, which can really pose problems for someone like Usyk, which it did. Not as bad as some are making out, but definitely made things difficult.

As a boxing bout…it was dull. The spectacle existed, but you can’t buy good match making. Whoever devised, dreamed or believed this fight would catch fire failed miserably. I thought the cards were fine if I’m honest…Rico moved a lot, threw a lot, but didn’t dominate from a boxing sense. Question marks over the stoppage perhaps, but let’s face it Mark Lyson did us all a favour 🤒🙌 #UsykRico 😴
