just looking forward to meeting new people 💖 writing/ illustration. non binary : ) please do not reupload my art thank you sweets partner @d_s_saavedra
I feel the problem with communities these days is that everyone is so quick to point fingers and accuse people to ruin someone’s reputation. What happened to talking, communication is apart of community, we need more a positive attitude going forward for everyone.
I don’t know about anyone else but the rise of gen AI in the writing space has made me even more reluctant to share my WIP pitches.
I typically take at least six months just to write a first draft. Someone could already have ‘written’ and published my idea by then. 🥲
To all who share my holiday, may you find joy and hope in Easter. And to everyone, may the promises of spring lift your heart. And if it's Fall in your hemisphere, take rest and harvest as winter approaches.
@Scott_A_Butler@d_s_santos as someone that has worked in illustration, you can’t post someone else’s work as your own in a event or competition, it’s supposed to be your own work submitted and paying someone who has set up a poster event to make posters isn’t an event it’s a way of promoting their service
@d_s_santos I’m literally disabled too, your argument falls flat to me. 😉
The templates often use AI, and pitch events tend to have rules against using AI (so do the agents who watch them).
If someone wants to spend their hard-earned money on a service, that’s up to them. I would.
Why is a pitch event charging a service for something you can literally teach yourself or get for free?
Guys this feels a bit like taking advantage of people because 10- 15 USD for a "poster" is ridiculous, just find a tutorials there's a bunch of them out there
This year I plan to use this account more and start writing. I want to share my little worlds with people and hopefully they will become something more ♥️ #amwriting
