My landlord raised my rent $340. I asked why. "Market rate adjustment." I googled my landlord. He owns 34 properties. Manages them through 3 LLCs. Lives in a $1.3 million house. Has never fixed my heating properly. My rent increase is his mortgage payment on preperty number 35. I am not a tenant. I am a revenue stream who gets to sleep here.

@theficouple You need to come to Miami. I don’t think you know wealth until you’ve come here. I see more G-Wagons, Rolls Royce, Lambos, Ferraris and Aston Martin SUVs than Corolla’s. I think you’re projecting.

Most wealthy people drive "boring" paid off cars. They tend to live in nice, modest paid off homes. They buy real estate, avoid debt, keep cash & max out 401k's/Roth IRA's. They don't do "flashy" things. Because real wealth is quiet.
