من قرى ترفض أن تُفرغ، إلى سماء ترفض أن تستسلم… للصمود وجوهٌ كثيرة. في #لبنان، بلدي، ومن #الجنوب الى #البقاع، رفض بعض الأهالي إنذارات الإخلاء وقرروا البقاء في منازلهم. لا منظومات دفاع جوي، ولا عمق استراتيجي… فقط ارتباط راسخ بالأرض وبالمجتمع. مقاومتهم هادئة لكنها واضحة: البقاء في المكان، وحماية الذاكرة والهوية والكرامة. وفي الوقت نفسه في #قطر، بلدي المضيف، تجلّى شكل آخر من أشكال الصمود في السماء. فقد اعترضت منظومات الدفاع الجوي المتقدمة والقوات الجوية موجات من الصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة خلال التصعيد الأخير، حمايةً للبلاد ولكل من يعيش فيها. هنا يتجسد الصمود في التكنولوجيا والمؤسسات والاستراتيجية. موارد مختلفة، نطاق مختلف، أدوات مختلفة… لكن الرسالة في الحالتين متشابهة بشكل لافت: هناك أمور ببساطة لا يمكن الاستسلام فيها.

As Israel bombs Lebanon, Israeli policy of annexation of West Bank accelerates. Palestinian Muslims and Christians are pushed off their land. If Trump’s Christian Zionists cared about Christians (at least) they would call a halt to annexation as the price of US military support.

Israel has destroyed another main crossing over the Litani River, further isolating southern Lebanon. There is now only one crossing left standing in the Tyre area, where tens of thousands of civilians remain.
