Heads up, northwest residents. A popular race is coming to Centennial Hills later this month, so here’s your reminder to plan ahead because there will be road closures. 🏃‍♀️🚧 The 2026 REVEL Mt. Charleston Marathon takes place on March 28, and roads along the race route will be closed from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. ⏰ Here’s what drivers need to know: 👇 •Runners will make their way from Kyle Canyon Road to the Thunderbird Family Sports Complex, using Fort Apache Road as the main route. 🏃‍♂️ •Both northbound and southbound lanes of Fort Apache Road will be closed, and eastbound and westbound crossings at Fort Apache will not be permitted during the race. 🚧 •Access for local residents will remain available with limited entry and exit directly to Fort Apache Road, but other commuters should avoid the area to prevent significant delays. 🚗 •Drivers should also avoid traveling eastbound or westbound on W. Grand Teton Drive to cross I-11 during the event. ⚠️ Detour routes: 🚙 •Consider using the Skye Canyon Park Drive overpass or the 215 Beltway to travel around the race route.
