Chad Fields (Vols Uniform Boy)

Preparing for the Vols Adidas announcement in a few weeks, I designed what I would do if the new Football uniform designs were up to me! I created a custom block number font that is the 90’s era block BUT with TN shaped notches in the corners to give it a modernized look. Volstar logo on the back collar. Dark Mode gets the full Adidas treatment with metallic finish on numbers, stripes and logos. And retro 80’s inspired stripes on the sleeves. And a mesh pattern design on the numbers and stripes similar to what adidas did for teams last season. We’re so close to adidas launch day! #GBO

@Johnny_25VFL @j0shhazelwood Yeah they didn’t want them leaked in game, so they didn’t make it to launch day update, but will be in on title update 1. Sucks though.

@j0shhazelwood @CfieldsVFL Sucks because I’m sure Tennessee sent over the design to EA in advance. But since UT planned the whole weekly announcement stuff. That’s probably why EA didn’t add them for the early release.

Lol we went 11-1. Beat bama, but lost to Pitt in the regular season and ACC title. Fields didn’t get his first start at QB until week 9 when the senior starter went down. On the 2nd to last weekend of the season we were 12th, and 3rd in the ACC, but then 8 or 9 of the top 10 all lost, vaulting us to 3rd. We lost the ACC title, and ended up a 5 seed. Vols were a 4 seed.

I’ll have you know, anytime I see your account pop up it reminds me of when I watched the end of the Vols-BYU football game in 2019 on the bus back to our All Star Sports resort. I turned it on just in time to watch our QB throw the game sealing interception…. I sat my phone down and quietly, angrily, stared out the window until we got back 😂😂😂
