Last one pre @Ticket1430 Show - we lost to someone cant remember who .. My Junior Year - Knight refuses to coach or have his assistants coach during practice for the entire week.. -next game at MSU (Skiles, Willis , Sam Vincent all longtime NBA players) -Chuck Franz and I run practice ..while Knight rides a stationary bike he calls me over, tells me to get a circle around Uwe and fire balls at him to learn how to catch.. ( an Old Testament stoning ..hoops style) - Coaches told not to scout or get us ready. - With managers help, Chuck/ I get scouting done and conduct walk thru’s and practices - we go up to MSU and KICK THEIR ASS.. - End up in Elite 8 - unlike Goode or Jimmy Blackman’s thoughts… #iubb is much more than scoring ave NEXT… the time I had to get on Athletic Directors hotel phone and ask Knight to come to our zPurdue game at West Lafayette
