@mcgovern5487 Thanks Paul. It’s not for me to say whether we have the right number of stores, rather I wanted to offer my perspective on the reason so many are practically on top of one another. Wishing you and your store much success

@ChadFinkelstein Your article seems to presume we have more stores than we need. I disagree, as legal sales are currently only ~1/2 the market! In the GTA, illegal storefronts continue opening with zero consequence while legal ones are forced to close. That and the govt's slice of pie is too big.

There is no one factor to blame for the saturation of #cannabis stores. I believe it is the result of a combination of lack of visibility, scarcity, exuberance and, of course, the pandemic. theglobeandmail.com/business/comme…

@rachelcolic Am I really that predictable? But also, I have questions. Let’s start with some high-level ones: any way this ad has been targeted, or is it visible to anyone? Can someone make a compelling argument that the Score isn’t about recreation and/or excitement?

@ms_janeen_davis One of the biggest sources (if not the biggest source) of complaints to cannabis regulators is competitors. It's quite unfortunate.

When retailers said other retailers reported them I thought it was dramatic at first. Then our insta posted a colab post w/ Spiritleaf & got taken down. Then a retailer showed a dm from a customer that another store was incentivising customs to report competitors. I hate 🐀's.
