Top. $TSLA won't achieve a new all time high (inflation adjusted) for the next decade. More than 1000% overvalued, it's an EV growth story being out-grown in the EV space by the combined "legacy" car makers. $TSLAQ

@swagoszn_ The cruelty was genetically warping sheep into wool factories in the first place. I don't mean to sound self righteous about it though, I mean I do eat meat after all and that is worse.

It's hilarious that the tone of passive electric guitar pickups depends on RLC circuits where all the capacitance is stray. So the frequency response is hyper sensitive to tiny capacitance changes, like how much capacitance the cable between the guitar and amp has. Crap design.

@AlexDelarge6553 He's definitely a competent pro guitar player, which is rare for a singer/frontman. But top 10 of all time is ridiculous. That would be genius level, doing things with the guitar that have never been done before.

Success or failure are judged relative to expectations. Since $TSLA went through the roof 5 years ago, Tesla can only be judged as a failure. How many years do you give a failure, who produces only promises of success next year, next year?

@engineers_feed What do you think "touch" is, if not electromagnetic force? And an electron doesn't have a position, it has a wavefunction. And the wavefunction would overlap everything (does that count as touch?).

If you scaled a hydrogen atom's nucleus to the size of a marble, the electron would orbit at roughly 1 kilometre away. Everything between them is empty space. Every solid object you've ever touched – steel, concrete, bone – is almost entirely vacuum, held together by electromagnetic forces between particles that never actually contact each other. You have never touched anything. Only the forces between atoms have.

@giveashitnature The real problem is the crack in your driveway. You've got to fix it with asphalt sealant/filler. Otherwise, the weeds will keep coming back and destroy your driveway.

Glyphosate is one of the most widely used herbicides on Earth. It's also what most people reach for when a dandelion pokes through a driveway crack. That's a significant chemical response to a very small problem, and there's a better one sitting on your stove. Boiling water kills weeds on contact. The heat ruptures cell walls all the way down to the root, and unlike herbicide sprays, it leaves no chemical residue, produces no runoff into storm drains, and poses no risk to the soil biology around it. Pour directly onto the weed and into the crack around its base. A kettle works better than a pot because you can direct the stream precisely. For established weeds with deep roots, a second application usually finishes the job. For new seedlings, once is typically enough. Glyphosate applied to a driveway crack runs into the storm drain with the next rain. From there it goes directly to your local waterway with no treatment step. The EPA classifies glyphosate as a possible carcinogen. The IARC classifies it as a probable one. Researchers continue to debate the exact risk level. What isn't debated is that it ends up in waterways. The dandelion doesn't know the difference.

@Haggerst1Martin @r0ck3t23 LOL you're claiming one transaction takes over a megawatt for 10 minutes? That's enough to fully charge an EV battery.

The problem is, is that there is not enough energy. Did you know that to do one bitcoin transaction it takes 10 min to do because of the block-chain. It uses 1,100 -1,400 KW to do just 1 transaction, that is equivalent to 100,000 Mastercard transaction, that is ridiculous they can never use it as a currency. If Governments have to choose between AI and bitcoin, AI wins everytime.

Elon Musk just named AI’s next crisis. It’s not a shortage. It’s a surplus nobody can switch on. Musk: “By the end of this year, chip production will outpace the ability to turn chips on.” For three years the world was starved for silicon. Every lab, every government, every company racing to secure the chips that decide who wins the AI era. That bottleneck is ending. A harder one is replacing it. Musk: “The chips are going to be piling up and not be able to be turned on.” Billions of dollars in the most advanced AI hardware ever built. Sitting dark. Not because the chips don’t work. Because there isn’t enough electricity to run them. You can’t print a power plant the way you print a chip. The fabs scaled. The grid didn’t. Now the hardware everyone fought over is hitting a wall capital can’t buy its way through. Compute becomes abundant. Electricity becomes the most valuable commodity on earth. Physics doesn’t care about your chip architecture if your data center can’t pull the megawatts. Every mind that has ever existed was limited by what it could eat. Ours ran on grain. This one runs on the grid. That has never been solved by thinking. Only by building. The war isn’t about who can print the most silicon. It’s about who can plug it in. Whoever solves energy first doesn’t just win. They own the rails everyone else has to rent. The losers stack chips in warehouses, waiting for power that never arrives. We built a trillion dollar engine and forgot the fuel.

I am terrible at reading music, but reading along the musical score while playing a piece I already know seems to improve the skill. Before I would discard the score as soon as I was able to memorize the notes.

With equal temperament tuning, in a major key the roots of the minor chords are all sharp. But from the point of view of the minor key, it's the roots of the major chords that are all flat. Playing in a minor key and doing slight bends up on the major roots sounds very bluesy.

In blues guitar, minor thirds are commonly bent up into major thirds. This allows the major third interval to be hit in a just tuning where it resonates perfectly with the root of the chord. Normally, in equal temperament tuning, major thirds are noticeably sharp and dissonant.
