If Calvinism is true, then God has purposefully withheld regeneration and irresistible grace from the majority of mankind, without which no one can believe and be saved. The God of Calvinism predestined billions of people to eternal torment before they were born, and He made sure that His Son did not die for their sins. That same God also decreed their sin, but still holds them accountable for it. What a gross misrepresentation of God! That view of God is shocking to the human conscience! Dave Hunt aptly illustrates how preposterous that theology is: “Should a paraplegic be faulted for failing to become a world-class gymnast, or a man for failing to bear children or to breastfeed the children his wife bears? Absurd! Yet we are told that God’s perfect justice operates in this fashion. Tragically, Calvinism’s misrepresentation of God has caused many to turn away from God as from a monster.” (“What Love Is This?”)

The Roman Catholic plan of salvation is entirely unbiblical.

Dear Christians, With sincerity, why believe Paul? In other words, why give any credit to Romans, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, or Philemon?

I would like to know: Out of all these people scrambling to condemn annihilationism... How many of them have ever read a single book defending the view, any articles on it from theologians, watched videos on it, etc? Or are they this sure it's 'wrong' without doing ANY homework?

A sincere question; why are non-Catholic Christians so desperate to bring the mother of our Lord down to our level? Why is it so far out of the realm of reason that the woman who birthed our Savior was immaculately conceived, and remained a virgin?

@rootcausesleuth @Chad_Golt “When they receive him” IS an exercise of the human will. Which makes the (reversed) order you keep this in purely *born again “by the will of man”*. You make the human will’s choice to “receive him” decisive. This goes against the very scripture offering you aimed to refute.

The choice to believe in Jesus is self determined, not pre-determined.
