To play those discs (most), you’ll still need internet lol.

One of my viewers contacted PlayStation support about the 30 day DRM update for PS4/PS5 games. The response they got makes it sound like this is not a mistake or "bug" and is intentional. They describe it as a "technical feature". Sony still hasn't officially responded yet.

@PaulTassi Game is A, MAYBE AA at best. Games like Skyrim, Elden ring, games that are complete and whole. THATS a AAA game. Where there is replay value, and value that lets the game last through time. It’s quality, player counts, ACTIVE player counts across all platforms.
