Next time you kill someone while driving drunk, tell the judge you didn't do it on purpose & see what he says. The point is both are reckless actions that should not happen.

You do not in fact get to have a swing that repeatedly "accidentally" bashes catchers in the head. Even if each incident is an "accident", it is NOT an accident to swing like that, creating the risk.

@SwervinF1 @js9inningsmedia And it was the cardinals who moved Contreras ‘forward’ towards the plate to try to ‘steal’ some strike calls for their pitchers…so he’s closer to the batter…gets hit on a backswing & then the Mikolas plunks Happ for something essentially his team caused.

@js9inningsmedia The most ridiculous part about it is Happ and Contreras were teammates for 6+ years before this, zero ill intent.

Out in California, 2026 Iowa signee David Calkins Jr. just won his first state title (6-5) in a battle b/t two of the nation’s top-four ranked wrestlers at 215lbs. Calkins was 8th/7th/DNP in three previous trips to the single-class state tourney, & now stands alone as a senior.

@Chadlang33 @WrestlingJunki6 My man… while OkSt, Ohio State, Iowa and everyone else took a nice recovery break after March, did offseason strength training and started getting back into it over the last month, PSU’s lineup was wrestling in several world championships. Be haters all you want, but it’s true.

He’s completely correct and anybody that takes issue with this is a PSU homer that got their feelings hurt. Penn State is doing a disservice to college wrestling by not showing up to National Duals.
