I served a Mormon mission from 2002 - 2004. None of us missionaries knew that Joseph Smith practiced polygamy. I was never taught that as a Mormon kid. I don't think I found out until I was in my mid-twenties, and I didn't find out about it at church. I found out about it online.

Heavy equipment at the Osaka Japan Temple site is carrying out demolition of the existing buildings and hardscape to make way for the temple. The property previously housed a campus of Osaka International University. No groundbreaking date has been announced, but the exterior rendering of the 34,320-square-foot temple was published last month. Plans also call for an ancillary building. Hey @Ch_JesusChrist Your website is broken. I log in using mobile safari and the my-home destination shows featured content / current news and there is no way to get to the normal home page where I can look stuff up, make donation, etc. I can’t even log out.

And @Ch_JesusChrist the same thing happens when I log in in my Mac with the desktop. Once I log in I get this featured content page and news page. I can’t do anything I need to do on my account. Make a donation, calling stiff, temple stuff, etc. please fix asap.

Hey @MurphyUSA Your dumb point expiration policy is the main reason we don’t stop at Murphy much anymore. We have to go out of our way and we were going to stop and gas up etc but I checked and points expired 2 days ago. So I guess we’ll stop elsewhere.

@TheB1M It’d be interesting to have a video on how the LDS Church is basically rebuilding the foundation of the iconic Salt Lake Temple to reinforce it and make it earthquake proof. The tech and processes are amazing and would make a good video.
