@TheHerrm @ryanhammer09 Don’t think that’s the point, if you know anything about all 3 of these young men, they all have a tremendous amount of upside, especially with good coaching and supporting cast. It is certainly a step in the right direction, and there’s also an 100% need for more additions.

@ryanhammer09 A Burton, Harris, Mustaf backcourt strikes fear in basically no one. This isn’t some slam dunk troika. I have major concerns about all three of these guys being pieces on winning teams (which Burton and Mustaf clearly weren’t and Harris never played).

@drewfanacc @Ajstotts They will get another guard, but I don’t expect them to spend big on another wing considering the recent moves. The consensus expectation is that Sisley is going to get better this offseason, plus Karvala/PAM should have some sort of impact as highly touted freshman.

And I trust him to guard more than I did Dorn or year prior in Goode. He has played against the best of the best since freshman year of High School.

@drewfanacc @Ajstotts And watch the tape, he couldn’t even step foot in the paint against Michigan as a standalone 5 and in a large amount of SEC play, he can play stints at the 5, but if you want a competitive team he has to be the 4. He has said it himself. Part of the reason why MSU is in mix.

@IndianaHQ Similar levels of impact isn’t crazy. Mustaf offers more versatility as a scorer, don’t think he’ll be able to mirror the defense Gilbert offered in Ames. Especially considering Devries instilled zero hunger on that side of the ball this past year.

Comparisons aren't perfect, but one for Jaeden Mustaf keeps surfacing: Keshon Gilbert. Similar production at UNLV as Mustaf's at GT, then leveled up at Iowa St., going all-Big 12. Similar physique, too. Could Mustaf follow that path at IU? "No self-imposed limitations" #iubb

By the time Duke offered Harris in HS fairly early on, a lot of teams backed out the race, because it was a done deal. There’s more to it than just a 247 recruiting profile and an ESPN page.
