Business must be done with decency. I happen to know from friends about the Consensus afterparty @consensus2026 being held in a strip club by @CoinDesk. This is completely inappropriate for a serious business event and deeply disrespectful toward women in the Web3 space. Organizers MUST create a professional and safe environment for both women and men. That MUST be the bare minimum. It’s difficult to feel safe, respected, and comfortable networking or doing business as a woman when some men around you are openly objectifying other women — and you as well. Holding a business event in a strip club (or inviting women in bikinis) is not edgy or progressive. It’s just fucking pathetic 🤡 Business must be done with decency.
