We are so lucky to have brought this property, this is the ground floor space, all open plan, the family room we are having this as my bedroom putting in one single track Profile for hoisting. We were so fortunate I know my family will not want for anything k now👍👊

I told my family after around 3 months of being diagnosed, ‘Please don’t ever apply the word ‘suffering’ to me’...I’m not suffering never will I be, I’m simply adapting to a forever changing reality’. How could I ever be suffering when love is all around and I’m still breathing.

@MndNavigate @GWSmith14 If you haven't read it I highly recommend Gabor Maté’s "When the body says no". He explores the mind body connection and the hidden cost of stress (pain people who wouldn't even identify as experiencing stress). I foundnit facinating and it makes a lot of sense to me.

@GWSmith14 Absolutely I believe my MND was caused by intense training, dental work, work capacity causing stress which I never felt all of the above I believe caused a chemical Inbalance somewhere along the way which triggered the oxidative stress causing free radicals in the body🤔

I know x2 Firefighters with MND I know x1 oil rig worker with MND I know x1 amateur boxer with MND I know x1 medical account manager with MND, I know x1 who served in the army. All the above spent hours working out keeping physically fit looking after ourselves 🤔

@gracepetrie Separating the prep from the task can help to. So you have everything you need to get going.

When I have an admin task to do it sits heavily on the horizon like a monster that gets bigger everyday til it’s overdue, therefore has crossed the line from theoretically, to actually stressful. Then when I do it I’m always annoyed with myself for how easy it was. Is this normal

@gracepetrie Really common for anyone with ADHD or underdeveloped executive function skills (if you were looking for a serious answer). The skill of initiating can be a tough one but it's never to late to Master.
