WWE is kind of reminding me of that Rick and Morty episode where all the imaginary friends (celebrities) are in the house (WWE) claiming that they’ve been in the lives of the family (the fans) the entire time, only for the latter to realize that they just got there and have nefarious purposes. 🤔

People within WWE are said to be extremely happy with all the recent celebrity performances. It’s also been indicated that they won’t be stopping anytime soon. (@FightfulSelect)

I'll admit that I was surprised to see the New Day get released, albeit by their own choosing instead of taking lower deals. But the outrage is weird. This seems like the best thing for them. They haven't been part of a hot feud in years. Their heel turn was awesome, but the creative for them after that totally sucked. And now they have a chance to be part of the biggest tag feud in years with the Bucks. Seems like a win-win

One match is built around a guy looking to avenge the demise of a gingerbread costume. Another match was set up after a guy double-crossed another guy who cursed him. Then there's a match where a key person involved in the storyline buildup departed the company.

There’s no such thing as a “WWE lifer” anymore. They released Dolph Ziggler, tried to release R-Truth last year but it backfired, and now Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have left. These are the kind of wrestlers you’d expect to retire in WWE. WWE has never felt more soulless than it does right now.
