❗️TW❗️ Telling this story will never get old, because it’s the reason I’m still here today. It changed my life in ways I can’t even fully put into words. Four years ago, Feng Min and Trickster saved my life. At the time, I was in a very abusive relationship. One sentence was all it took to completely break me. He said, “If you were a dog, I’d have you put down.” After that, I hung up the phone and felt like everything inside me just… gave out. I had made up my mind that night that I would take my life. Somehow, I still opened Dead by Daylight. I wasn’t even trying to play... I just wanted something to drown out the noise in my head. But I couldn’t stop crying. I remember standing by the big boat on Pale Rose, completely frozen. That’s when Trickster found me. He didn’t attack. He didn’t pressure me. He just… stood there with me. For a while, we didn’t do anything. And then slowly, he started guiding me around the map, helping me do objectives, almost like he was silently telling me to keep going. To keep moving. To not give up. He stayed with me the entire match. And when it was time, he watched me leave through the gate. That moment saved my life. Whoever that player was, I will never know... but I carry that kindness with me every single day. They gave me something I didn’t think I deserved at the time... patience, understanding, and a reason to take one more step forward. As the years went on and my health got worse, there were still moments where Trickster players would show up on my hardest days… even on my birthdays. It felt like little reminders that not every day had to be bad. That there was still light, even in the darkest moments. I started streaming Dead by Daylight because of him. I told myself that one day, I would earn the Twitch shirts. But not for recognition, but as a way of saying thank you. As a way of giving back for what that one moment gave me. Since then, I’ve built something I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve met people who became my family. Real, genuine, caring people who showed me that connection is still possible, even after everything. And I would do anything for them, the same way someone once showed up for me. Now, everything I do as a creator comes back to that moment. I choose kindness, even when it’s hard. I try to be honest, supportive, and present for others. I want people to know they’re not alone, because I know what it feels like to think you are. And I will always create wholesome moments in this game, because those moments matter more than anything else. They can change someone’s entire life. Trickster isn’t just a character to me. He represents the moment everything changed... the moment I stayed. And because of that, I will always be grateful. and a huge congrats to all who have been given your shirts. You worked your butt off. Be proud!
