While hustlers grind through December with empty pockets and empty plates, the people sitting in the Office of the President and his inner circle are parading wealth like they’re in some royal dynasty. Tens of millions in “Christmas charity.” Goats worth a hundred million at an auction. Truckloads of food worth over a hundred million handed out in home villages. MPs throwing around 70 million like pocket change. And the poor? They’re lined up in front of cameras, forced to become props in this circus. Poverty has become the stage. Human suffering is the backdrop. A hungry mother becomes a photo opportunity. A desperate boda boda rider becomes a statistic to decorate a speech. This is not generosity it’s power flexing. If leadership cared, that food would already be in Mandera. It would already be in Marsabit. It would already be in Kajiado. It would already be in the ASAL counties where mothers are boiling stones for their children and men are burying livestock in the dust. But those people don’t have TV crews. They don’t chant slogans on command. So they don’t get help. Instead, the highest office in the land presides over a government that treats hunger as a political asset. Keep people desperate enough and they’ll queue. They’ll bow. They’ll cheer for crumbs. And the Cabinet smiles for the cameras. This is the Kenya we’ve normalised: Looting is routine. Waste is expected. Arrogance is advertised. And the hustler the mama mboga, the casual labourer, the boda boda rider is left to survive on hope and handouts while being told to be grateful. But here’s the truth no one in power wants to hear: if billions weren’t bleeding out of this country through corruption and mismanagement, no one would need staged charity drives. No one would need to beg for flour and cooking oil at Christmas. People would work, earn, feed their families with dignity. Instead, we are ruled by a culture that throws breadcrumbs from the high table and calls it “empowering hustlers.” When voting out Uhuru Kenyatta and rejecting Raila Odinga we said Enough is Enough. Feed the starving — not the cameras. Serve the people — not your political brand. Fix the economy — don’t humiliate the poor. Kenyans are not props or political tools . They are not extras in a presidential film. They are human beings and they deserve leadership that listens and understands.

Why did Cyrus Jirongo meet Moses Wetangula? Why after meeting him he stated behaving abnormally? What was the probox behind him doing at 3AM? Who is the owner of that probox? Where are the 65 passengers purported to be in climax bus that collided head-on with Jirongo's Benz? I have many questions about Jirongo's death, but I still believe he was assassinated.

Kenya is being dragged toward a national ambush. You cannot ask a hungry, overtaxed, exhausted people to vote in a general election and a referendum at the same time. That is not governance it is deliberate confusion. It is chaos packaged as reform. And it is happening because those in power can feel the ground moving beneath their feet. They can smell defeat, and instead of facing the voters with humility, they want to vandalize the rules. President William Ruto has looked at 2027 and seen a storm he cannot stop. Instead of fixing the broken hospitals where patients die quietly, instead of saving parents crushed under school fees, instead of rescuing businesses suffocating under taxes, he has chosen a political escape route rewrite the Constitution and distract the nation. The message is cruelly simple: your suffering can wait, their survival cannot. Musalia Mudavadi a man who never stopped an Indian from jumping on his bed now stands at the front of this mission, selling it as necessity. We are being told that political offices matter more than food on the table, medicine on the shelves, or dignity in the homes of ordinary Kenyans. That is the cold heart of this project privilege first, people last. And they expect applause. Let the truth be remembered. William Ruto opposed the 2010 Constitution. He fought it. Now, when the ballot threatens to embarrass the powerful, the very same Constitution suddenly becomes “the problem.” Why? Because they want to invent new offices to cushion losers. But if losing an election earns you power anyway, then democracy is a lie. Elections must mean something not just for the winners, but for the losers too. We saw this trick before under Uhuru Kenyatta. It was called BBI. Today it has returned wearing new clothes and a new name a referendum. The script has not changed. The goal has not changed. The political elite want to insure themselves against the will of the people. They want power that survives even when you reject them at the ballot. And who gains from this national circus? Not the jobless youth. Not the farmer sinking into debt. Not the patient turned away from a hospital because there is nothing left to give them. The only beneficiaries are those terrified of the people they claim to serve. They fear the voters so they are trying to blunt the power of the vote. Constitutional change is not Kenya’s emergency. Kenya’s emergency is greed. Kenya’s emergency is arrogance. Kenya’s emergency is a government that refuses to admit failure while citizens absorb the pain. Fix the economy first. Fix healthcare. Fix education. Stop the bleeding before you start carving up the Constitution. This country will not be saved by creating new seats for politicians running from defeat. It will be saved by leaders willing to stand before the people without rewriting the rules. Face the election. Accept the verdict. That is democracy. And if you fear it you do not deserve power.

Whether Raila Odinga is sick or not, we don’t care. Kenya’s biggest illness isn’t Raila’s body it’s the rotten state of our nation. We wish him quick recovery, yes, but let’s be honest: he’s lucky. Lucky to have a hospital bed, lucky to have doctors, lucky to still breathe. Because Rex Maasai and countless Gen Zs didn’t get that privilege they were gunned down, silenced, murdered in cold blood for demanding justice and change. These youths begged Raila to stay away, to let them fight their own battle but as usual, he saw an opportunity. Just like he did with Moi, Kibaki, Uhuru, and now Ruto, he inserted himself where he wasn’t wanted, twisting the nation’s pain into a political ladder. Let’s be clear, honest and sincere 18 million Kenyans have moved on. They don’t care about Raila’s sickness, his recovery, or his next handshake. His own wife denied he’s even sick, yet his allies are busy crying foul and pointing fingers at Rigathi and Kalonzo as if they’re the ones spreading diseases. Kenya is bleeding, not because Raila is unwell, but because the same old political parasites keep feeding on our pain. We mourn the dead, not the deceivers. Oburu Odinga kindly massage your old and worn out tongmandeni.

@DanChepta Voters are brainwashed that statehouse is a property for two communities each time for 62 years since independence. The top seat should reflect diversity and rotate to all communities on a merry go round basis. Kalonzo tosha.
