For West Bengal to go through a state election with no political intimidation, poll rigging, booth capture etc is unheard of. The REAL victor is constitutional democracy. Hats off to the Election Commission of India. You are heroes. Indians are grateful. @ECISVEEP #GyaneshKumar

1. Just got off a call with @UnSubtleDesi. I couldn't be happier for her and both of us couldn't help but discuss the harrowing days of post poll violence in West Bengal in 2021. So I am going to share what happened five years ago just so ppl know what happened. #WestBengal2026.

There is a reason Bengal is called West Bengal despite being in the East of India. It is the Partition of India, on the basis of religion, less than 80 years ago. That reality became the central indeed the defining taboo of Indian politics. We were to all pretend it never happened. That the continuing reality of religion-based laws and secession movements was not all around us. That we were just to carry on until more amputations were done of Mother India. But let today’s message be crystal clear - be it Kashmir, Punjab, Bengal, Assam or Kerala: not an inch to be conceded. If anything, we plan to work towards what is inevitable - a united India, an Akhand Bharat. United not just politically but more importantly civilisationally. Whatever it takes.

Bengal’s business community is absolutely delighted with result of Bengal elections: 1. Development will be back on the agenda 2. Jobs and investments will follow 3. A stronger, more cohesive social climate will emerge A decisive mandate for BJP is the catalyst Bengal’s economy has been waiting for.

The reason BJP keeps winning election after election is because its worker is extremely hardworking and loyal to the party. He toils on the ground without expecting anything in return. This victory belongs to him. Congratulations, Gyanesh Kumar, you are truly inspirational!

@Ssaniya_ Bengal voters saw Bangladesh run by Yunus. This generation was unaware of what happened to minorities in Bangladesh (East Pakistan) in 1970-71. Wanted to stop digging their graves, finally after 1977.

Bengal voters saw Uttar Pradesh, Assam and other BJP-ruled states. Read the reports on hate crimes, communalism and safety and still backed the BJP. Unbelievable how people dig their own grave.

@Nher_who West Bengal has seen peak communism under the Left Front for 34 years and 15 years of peak communalism under TNC ad Mamata for 15 years. Now it's time to see peak development, peak job creation and peak communal harmony (provided the violent and bloodthirsty TMC mobs permit).
