@SmileCastingTA @SimonePereiraHi I think this is different though. You’ve booked the job and you’re being paid to focus on that one thing. A lot of these tapes will send you a 5 minute scene to memorise, Then you don’t even get any kind of acknowledgment after submitting.

@SimonePereiraHi Bearing in mind, if you book for TV then yoi do need to work quickly. You'll receive sides the night/day before filming usually amd changes are also made last minute and sometimes on the day. Being script ready for a self tape is pretty much crucial.

@SimonePereiraHi The teleprompter app is life changing especially when you haven’t got the time to learn the lines. It’s cheap and brilliant - no one knows you’re reading and your acting skills are empowered because you not searching for words.
