I personally think he could do it in the prem, by the fact that he came 2 and then 3 the next season in the bundesliga with a RB Leipzig team that shouldn’t have been that competitive against the giants of Bayern and Dortmund, it shows that he can get the best out of players young and old and you put him in the prem with our attack and we get Tonali and couple others on midfield he could start to build something which was very similar to what he had in Germany but RB Leipzig is a buy young and sell team so he could never build and of course he then went to Bayern, I think he million miles better taking a risk of him than Carrick because we’ve kinda seen what could happen with Carrick but we haven’t had a manger like Nagelsmann before

@Chapeeye I didn’t Watch Nagelsmann enough but I know he was flexible. You know how the premier league is, can he do that here?

It’s such a shame that the United board lie about going for best in class manager/players, as their 99% likely to give Carrick the job when Nageslmann is out there and all this talk about world class signings is most likely spin because we have no games on, truly shameful and clueless, hopefully I’m proven wrong but most fans are thinking the same!

Forget about Enrique, are you guys watching the Germany game against Ghana? Julian Nagelsmann should be our manager irrespective of what carrick achieve at the end of the season. The guy is tactically good.

I rate Nagelsmann so high because his track record with his tactics and how flexible he can be with them depending on what’s happening in the game and also his ability to develop academy players and young players for example he was huge in the development of Musiala, and Upamecano. He asks his teams to play a high intensity game and allows flexibility and versatility into his team which allows the team to play the best of their ability, I think he is incredibly talented and would be a shame to miss this opportunity especially with what is a reset for us

@Chapeeye You seem to rate Nagelsmann so high and I’m wondering why? Carrick is about to take us to Europe. Don’t get me wrong, im not saying we should give Carrick the job, but you’re discrediting him so much.

3 points do mater but we’ve been extremely lucky for some of these three points and i personally think the jump up from championship football to the biggest club is too much and especially after we’ve seen a very similar story before and same style of footballl aswell , and it just feels like it could be a similar story to ole again.

@Chapeeye I understand you now and yes, he doesn’t have a UCL experience but he has done well. Who do you think he learnt his style from? Sir Alex blended Counter attack with quick transition and dominated the EPL. I’m still saying 3 points is what matters.

Exactly ole managed only once to get 2nd with that style and then when downhill quite quickly after that and that same style is being played my Carrick and getting us 3rd and normally counter attack football can’t be done over a long time and it’s very easy to play against, and it’s a low block

How the United Board haven’t gone fully out for him is crazy and want to stick with counter-attack Carrick is crazy. His tactics and style of football is a joy to watch and would make an insane manger for United, but of course the board will take short lucky results and give it to Ole 2.0

@giddy_fx The big worry is this just a story to keep us occupied whilst there’s no games for 3 weeks and it’s all spin, but if we get him our midfield is hugely upgraded

@Chapeeye A good one bro. We should do everything to get him. He’s insane. United board rate him more than Anderson, so, I guess we’re having him.

‼️Serious Question. If United should decide to go for one player between Sandro Tonali and Elliot Anderson, who should it be in terms of ball carrying and holding abilities?

Yes his style of play in the championship was very much the same but that style of football works in the championship but yes 3 points counts however United shouldn’t be a counter attack team and should be able to dictate the game and with arsenal the only reason we one that game was two absolute worldies, the big problem with Carrick is that the style of football he plays can get results over a short period of time and also the level of the league this season have been terrible and if all the top 6 teams where firing we wouldn’t be third let alone top 5 with the performances we’ve been lucky with. We need to bring in a manger with big experience (champions league experience) and not take a shot in the dark with another unknown intern

@Chapeeye Did you follow Carrick throughout his Middlesborough stay? In as much as I don’t buy your idea, you’re right about the red card moments but at the end, the 3 points is what matters. What team do you think we can’t win with counter attack? We won Arsenal; the best defense

@giddy_fx It’s a punt on who ever you pick but the last time we gave an intern the job, (ole) he played the same style and ended up looking for a new manger 18 months later because the style of football is not good enough

@Chapeeye You sound convincing but you don’t have to discredit Carrick. Employing Nagelsmann now will remain a gamble because he’s inexperienced in the EPL. I won’t rate Julian above Amorim. Say what he did at Bayern and I’ll tell you Kompany is doing better.

I genuinely think no-one knows what’s going to happen in the midfield area but like you said there’s gonna be a lot of money chucked around for world class players including your man Tonali, hopefully he come Utd but could see Man City do the double with Anderson aswell, hopefully not.

@babajidejoshua4 @Utdbeni And what people don’t think is appointing carrick will affect transfer targets unless their united fans as which big player will join carrick over the likes of Pep, arteta and etc, that’s the big fear, let alone the play style and how long can the counter attack football care on

@Chapeeye @Utdbeni With this current squad and our potential buys he'll do a lot of damage to the league... I don't know why many fans don't rate him

I’m changing AIV to Nagelsmann if he becomes our manager with immediate effect. This kind of dominance is what I want at Old Trafford.

@babajidejoshua4 @Utdbeni His style of play is counter attacking football which isn’t the way United should be playing and most fans are so fearful of another Ole scenario and when’s there better mangers out there we should be going for best in class like the board says but they can’t be bothered.

@AliceTalksFooty Honestly don’t know why United are on the phone to Nagelsmann, his tactics and style of play would be a joy to watch at old Trafford compared to counter attack Carrick

Eddie Howe needs to get Woltemade playing a lot closer to goal. While he's playing behind the 9 for Germany today, he is operating in much more advanced areas and as a result is having much more impact in final third. The amount of times I have seen him be playing as deep as a DM for Newcastle this season is criminal.

100% but he so much better that Carrick and the fact that the board haven’t even reached out to any manger let alone him, just shows how much the lie about getting best in class and all that matter for them is saving money and acting like the tried for the best whilst we all now it’s spin !

You want to judge Nagelsmann and Germany with a performance against a Ghana team that had failed to win a match in their last 3 games and also failed to qualify for the last AFCON tournament? You want to give Nagelsmann credit so bad? Why don’t you wait until the World Cup where the stakes are high and the pressure is nonstop. Let us see how he performs with the plethora of good players at his disposal.
