As Islam sweeps the world's Western cultures, I'm reminded of Matthew 24:7 and Luke 21:10. The Greek word for "nation" is ἔθνος (ethnos), and we get the word ethnic from it in English. So translated accurately, the verses would read "Ethnic against ethnic (group) and Kingdom against Kingdom". But you will never hear this preached... Jesus will return soon!

It was bittersweet saying goodbye to all the people I served with, and the generation after me today. I wouldn't have changed knowing all of them, as these crews made my life much more meaningful.
