On the whole Carol Vorderman / Crewkerne Gazette matter: We strongly defend our right to freedom of speech, artistic expression and political satire. The video Mrs Vorderman has taken issue with is plainly a work of satire, and its main target is the absurd image of politicians being pulled from a toilet bowl, not any serious claim about Mrs Vorderman herself. The Crewkerne Gazette produces high-quality AI satire and is widely recognised for doing so. Any suggestion that this was presented as anything other than satire is entirely false. Mrs Vorderman has described the video as “not satire”, but we are a satirical publisher, our work is understood in that context, and the material was clearly framed as such. The comparison with Spitting Image is a fair one. We do not use puppets; we use AI-generated characters which resemble the public figures being portrayed, though not always perfectly or realistically. Our AI satire is marked as satire precisely because we are conscious of the risks around this technology. With AI comes responsibility, and we take that responsibility seriously. In the video in question, no false factual claims are made about Mrs Vorderman. There is no sexual or obscene imagery, and nothing we consider to have crossed the line. It is also important to stress that the video was not sent to Mrs Vorderman directly. It was published to our own audience, who understand and enjoy the Gazette’s satirical format. We would also advise, in the strongest possible terms, that nobody gives Mrs Vorderman any grief over her comments. We strongly condemn threats, harassment, abuse or menacing language of any kind, and we ask people not to target her. It should also be noted that, following Mrs Vorderman’s public response, I have personally received threats and menacing messages from left-wing accounts associated with pro-Palestine politics. That is unacceptable too. Political satire is part of a free society. People are entitled to dislike it, criticise it or find it unfunny, but that does not make it unlawful, malicious or anything other than satire. Joshua Bonehill-Paine

Just to disclose after video earlier the only time I’ve ever been interviewed voluntarily before was over the ‘harassment’ of @thedodgydriver Ian Robinson. A man who is clearly deeply involved in the coordinated trolling on X of me and others. He’s posted 900 posts about me and seems to stalk my ex wife too. As do many of the crew including two of my ‘GMC’ victims. Strange thing. They presented me with five screenshots all various incarnations of me naming and shaming the bully/obsessive old man. Asking, for example, of his wife knew about his fixation. That was all they had. Meanwhile I had an entire ream of incriminating interactions, screenshots, malicious AI and evidence. Interview took about 15 mins and NFA without any form of warning within 24h. I have every single receipt from every single troll. You will have no leg to stand on. As my barrister advised me. Don’t get mad. Get even. Time to expose the whole shebang. And these upcoming interviews will provide the platform for exposing the coordination, network, breadth and volume of abuse I’ve faced which has so far been completely overlooked. #beyondallreasonabledoubt

As if she's a Victorian vicar's wife whose virtue has been impugned, rather than a hard boiled thrasher whose bumhole should be registered as a museum given its age and number of visitors. And for Labour's squadrons of traitorous termagants to hoot outrage-by-proxy over a joke - A JOKE! - when they blithely dismiss the industrial-scale rape and torture of vulnerable British girls by their imported voters. Hammy fraudsters Angela Rayner and Creasy Stella holding their bleeding hearts up to the camera - "look where the joke hurt us!" - while turning a hard face to brutalised children, voting against the national grooming gangs inquiry. No apology for Labour's rape-for-votes scandal. But this comment about Carol Vorderperson's anus requires a grovelling apology? Get fucked, fussocks. I hope Reform don't fall into the trap of apologising. Carol parades her frenetic, swarming sex life for attention, then cries when people comment. We all know that nobody is offended. We all know that they're pretending so that they can score a political point. If they can bend Reform to their will, they show dominance. Reform need to reframe this and ground it in reality. You don't win elections by dancing to your opponent's fiddle.

A statement from me: “Yesterday, two separate venues in Cambridge buckled to far-left activists and cancelled a discussion of my book Suicide of a Nation, the Number 1 Sunday Times bestseller. This was the latest stop on a national tour which has so far taken me to over 50 locations across the UK - none of which were cancelled. I find it sad that the organisers of two venues in a place such as Cambridge, with its long tradition of free speech and robust debate, cannot find the courage to stand up to hard left woke activists. These people are intolerant, dogmatic bullies who should be confronted and defeated. I would happily return to Cambridge if somebody out there who has a venue and some courage would host the discussion. I would like to advertise it and make it clear that when it comes to free debate and discussion nowhere in England is out of bounds. Please DM or email me if you are that person.
