Former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson said the U.S. needs an emergency plan to react to a coming collapse in demand for Treasuries that will have “vicious” effects. Where was Paulson when he was actually in a position to help avert the crisis? It’s too late now. Just buy gold!

$AMD was below $200 a month ago, today we have reached a new all-time high. I am glad it played out this well since I aggressively called it out, but I am not selling. I think $AMD is still the best bet in the semiconductor space. Anthropic is now considering incorporating $AMD GPUs into its hardware stack and this is just the beginning. The alternatives are catching up with $NVDA, and $AMD GPUs are particularly good at inference thanks to their larger memory bandwidth and capacity. So, more buyers will shift to $AMD as AI workloads shifts from training to inference. At the same time, CPU demand is also accelerating as the agentic capabilities of models improve day by day. Autonomous agentic loops are heavier on CPUs since they do the orchestration. $AMD is the second biggest player in the data center CPU market. It's very well positioned in both product segments and still trading at 19x 2028 earnings. It's not cheap, but not obviously expensive either. Hold for the optionality as the downside is limited.
