Let's dive into one of the most underrated Canadian companies ↓↓↓↓↓ $MDA Space. After a recent IPO on the NYSE, this company has garnered some more attention, but awareness surrounding $MDA is in its VERY early stages still. Overall, MDA Space is one of Canada's key space-tech companies. Founded in 1969 and formerly known as Neptune Acquisition holdings Inc., it changed names to MDA Ltd. in March of 2021. Headquartered in a 200,000 square foot facility in Brampton, Ontario, with over 4,000 highly skilled engineers, scientists, technicians and business leader employees. With a market cap of $5.43 Billion CAD as of writing on April 13, 2026. Let's explore space ↓↓ (1/6)

The market is at all-time highs. Consumer confidence index is near all-time lows. You have $10,000 to invest. Do you buy today, wait for a pullback, or sit in cash?

A quick dive into Netflix after their recent earnings miss, and why customers are getting the most value they ever have from $NFLX ↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓ So they beat earnings estimates. Awesome. But the stock price is down ~8% after hours due to Reed Hastings stepping down, and weak Q2 guidance. People may be forgetting all the companies that continued to thrive without their initial founder/leader(s) ( $AMZN, $AAPL, $MSFT, $GOOGL, to name a few) And history has shown us one poor quarterly outlook matters next to nothing. Some key fundamentals for Netflix ↓↓↓ Revenues grown EVERY year since 2016 at a CAGR of 21.3%. Operating profit grown at a CAGR of 39.7% since 2016. Return on invested capital grown at a rate of 16.2% since 2016. Netflix is the gold standard for a business that shareholders want to have a part in. - High quality product. - Defendable competitive moat (not just theoretically, it has been proven time and time again with $AMZN prime video, Hulu, $AAPL tv, Crave, Disney+, Youtube movies etc) where they continue to dominate. - Pricing power (ability to raise price slightly yet consistently without customer turnover issues) - New revenue streams (advertising, plenty else to explore in the entertainment industry) - Finally, their gold standard, they increase content spend every year and earn a higher return on that spend every year, which means customers are now getting more content per $ spent on their subscription than ever before This all results in the best Netflix in history for the customers it serves, which means the best Netflix in history for the shareholders that choose to own a part in this amazing story.

The market did not liked $NFLX Q2 guidance and the stock is dropping 9% in after hours. Is it the start of the drop or a healthy correction after a great run it had? 🧐

With Nasdaq and S&P500 blowing past all time highs today, we are now SO BACK and greed is at 62, when it was just 18 seemingly a few days ago. Where is everyone allocating new money tomorrow and in the upcoming week? Or at least, what's on everyone's watchlist? I'll be watching to add to $MA , $SPGI and even $PLTR (still find it hard to believe I now have a position in Palantir as of a couple days ago).

@BrandonWealth Yeah I ran the numbers though and if you invested at inception and held until now you'd have been at a return of -6%. And considering that 2023-2026 was a GREAT time to be in the markets in quite literally anything and everything, this is pretty abysmal

Although not much of an options trader, I started a position in $SOFI and $NOW a couple days ago, expiring mid January 2027. The thesis was that these companies price would rise so fast that an options long would actually deliver a better time adjust return than owning the stock outright (i.e. a lot more money would have had to been put up at risk (tied up, when it could be allocated elsewhere) just to earn the same returns as the options trade). So far playing out nicely, very surprised. My experience with options has been nothing but negative in the past (as it is for most 😂) so this is a nice refresh. LEAPs are the way apparently!

That volatility itself is the VIX. Check the beta of the stock you have. That's how it moves versus the S&P 500. Negative means exactly that: against the S&P 500. Example: beta 1 means it moves like the S&P 500. Higher would mean more times that amount. Example: beta 0 means no correlation. Example: beta -1 moves opposite the S&P 500.
