@DesirableTruth She's not wrong about dating for purpose and saving yourself for after marriage but a year is a damn long time to date just for marriage. And she's in a religion that values death and destruction, so there's that

Jews have not treated Christians favorably? Where and when? Christians literally killed mass amounts of Jews and forced conversions for almost 2,000 years. What exactly have Jews done to Christians other than give them the only place of freedom to live in the Middle East? You are not getting it. The Torah says "you are the witnesses." Meaning, the generation who received the Torah had to witness the giving of it by God at Mt Sinai otherwise it cannot be accepted. No other religion makes such a claim. And furthermore, the Torah says that no one else will ever make such a claim. Now tell me, if such a claim can be fabricated, why not have another religion make such a claim? Because, it's literally impossible to tell a people that you all witnessed an event if it's a lie. Only the Torah has made such a claim and not only that, tells you that if anyone else in the future makes a similar claim than this Torah cannot be divine because God cannot make such a mistake. So, if it wasn't true it would have been too much of a risk.

Well the Romans concur on the murder of James and Paul self-describes as to what his mission was. Hebrew and Jewish people don’t necessarily have a track record of treating Christians very favorably in the modern world either. Wouldn’t be the farthest reach if that’s what you wanna knock it down to. I don’t think you’re seeing the whole problem I have with the proofing - you constantly refer back to the Torah to confirm the torahs accuracy or truthfulness - this kind of logic wouldn’t be accepted in any other field. I believe the Bible to be true because of faith. But the fact that the compilation comes so much later than the occurrence, and we have absolutely nothing to corroborate it with externally, like the exodus isn’t even recorded (to our knowledge) in the ancient Egyptian annals. I guess I also don’t really understand the need for the proofing at all. Faith would dictate that you believe it, regardless of evidence. Islam and Christianity and pretty much every other religion are very heavily belief based. With the exclusion of Mormonism, I suppose. Judaism does seem to have an obsession with justification and vindication of supremacy, but proving the Torah to be factually correct only does Christianity a favor.

🇮🇱 Israel’s Ben-Gvir: “We go into the prisons, and they wet themselves. I'm not joking; they wet themselves. They're afraid. Fear rules them, and that's how it should be.” It almost seems like he gets off on that. It wouldn’t be surprising. Mental illness is real. Writer: Jamie

The onyl accounting of Jewish persecution of Christians comes from the Christians. There is not one accounting from any Jewish source or any other contemporary source whatsoever. That is called circular proof. And not only that, if you would read any Jewish law or philosophy at all, you would see that it would be completely against Jewish law to go after a Christian to kill them. To banish them from the community is one thing but to kill or be in any way violent towards them would be a complete violation of Jewish law. It is a total fabrication to frame the Jewish people. Perhaps the first blood libel of which Christians are notorious for. And the Torah was written down at the end of Moses life. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:9 & 24 to write down the Torah. Prior to this during the 40 years in the dessert  it was only oral. What you are probably referring to is the Prophets and Writings which came later. But you are straw manning my proof and reasoning. I feel like you are not understanding the logic here. But whatever. And this is only 1 out a million proofs that the Torah is true. But the rest are more complex and require actual study of Torah. Including Oral Torah. But as for the New Testament, there is not only not 1 proof of it's divinity but if one would accept the Tanach as being true (which I'm sure you do) than there is ample proof that the New Testament cannot be true.

Couple corrections - gamalial believed in Christ and is the one who helped Saul - the Sanhedrin 100% persecuted followers of Christ. There are multiple well documented episodes of apostles being accosted harassed, abused, and killed by the Jewish courts. Most famously is James, allegedly Jesus’ brother, who was stoned by the high priest over ‘breaking the law’ and the Romans removed the high priest Ananus over the extrajudicial killing. Paul himself is described as deputized by the high priest to arrest and jail and punish Christians. The circular reasoning loop - I’ll close this for you. You are referencing a record of the Torah - a book written ABOUT alleged history. There is ZERO corroboration on any of these records externally. This uncorroborated record is what you are using to establish the foundational event of the religion itself. Not to mention the Torah was written, edited, abridged, and compiled 5 to 900 years after the events happened. You’re using the existence of the record to justify the position of ‘well nobody would lie about everyone seeing it’ when for all you know the entire record could be made up. The argument of “no way could they make this up when everyone’s grandparents saw it” has no credibility when the book was written 500+ years later and only has itself to refer to.

In Kathy Hochul’s New York, a 29-year-old man went to work in the Bronx but never made it home. My heart breaks for his family, and every family devastated by violence in this state. This is Kathy Hochul's New York. Crime is up 22% under her watch, and she has done nothing to stop it. In Nassau County, I hired 600+ law enforcement officers and brought crime down. I know how to do it, because I've already done it. When I am Governor, I will make New York safe again.

1 - it is the metaphysical climactic founding event of the religion. It is the exact same. There is no better comparison. Like I said - you are simply choosing to believe the Torah when it says everyone heard the voice of god(Christian theologians largely do not believe the audible voice of god was heard by anyone aside from Moses at this time). You have no proof of this except for the torahs account. This is circular reasoning. “The Torah is correct because the Torah says x happened” 2 - we’re moving the goalposts here. Paul’s writings are influenced by the teachings of Jesus himself and his disciples, as well as his religious and philosophical education. His WRITINGS yes are a critical portion of Christian theology. His conversion at Damascus is not. It’s a footnote. Great Story, but Paul didn’t invent Christianity and his vision on the road to Damascus is not the same thing, as the rabbi compared them, to Joseph Smiths or Mohammed’s visions. Or even Sinai. Christianity already existed, he was hunting Christian’s and killing them on behalf of the Sanhedrin (hey look Jewish persecution of Christian’s episode 1). He was literally on the way to Damascus to kill a group I believe led by Gamalial, and after his conversion and blindness was cared for by the same Rabbi.
