If the government's next recommendation to the STRB does not take steps to begin to restore pay, an indicative ballot will be launched in the spring. On funding - we absolutely need to press government to invest 5% of GDP in Education (the OECD average). This would require a £20billion uplift. Campaigns for pay restoration or a fair funding settlement do not end if 6.5% is accepted.

@Charlene_202 @RainyTT @NEUnion SATs are awful! I get why primary schools push the kids to do well as it is used against them if they don’t. At secondary we have to try and then force the kids to live up to them which can lead some students to switch off as they feel like they’re never good enough.
