And definitely a great portrait painter.

I couldn't name a better portrait painter than Peder Severin Krøyer and I've gone through the whole wikipedia catalogue of 19th century impressionism plus a lot of academic painting - which of course means I'm just superficially familiar with the matter, but if I'm wrong, I'm glad to be corrected.
