People think citing P4 vs P4 blowout losses in the playoffs is some trump card. The issue isn't that there are blowouts. The issue is that none of the games featuring G5 teams in the playoffs have been competitive. They're /ALL/ blowouts. 27-6 31-14 41-10 51-34

Get ready to see this happen all over the sport. If it’s only about how many wins ya have and not who you’re playing and where you’re playing you’re gonna see every AD make these same moves. Kiss meaningful non conference games in late August and early September goodbye. Cupcakes moving forward till teams get to conference play.

Jr. was the biggest surprise to me in relief with his performance in games 4&5. He hadn’t looked tremendous with the cubs this season, I thought two top 30s was a steep price in the trade. But when it’s mattered most in the postseason he’s shown up in clutch fashion.

Bob Costas is actually good and people just don't like him because he shouts less than a lot of other announcers
