The west paid the slave owners. No, it was the British.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavery_A…
The UK spent billions to stop the Transatlantic slave trade.
One thousand six hundred British sailors died stopping the slave trade.
We disposed the king of Lagos because he refused to stop selling his own people.
English

@CraigAccused @OBFred92 @stevebrookstein @englishLDN You talk shit
They went to work to stop Africans then did it themselves
The west paid slave owners compensation. They actually rewarded them...so not quite what you said
English

@CharmaMyles @OBFred92 @stevebrookstein @englishLDN Meanwhile African kings were selling their own people into slavery to such an extent that us British threatened to go to war to stop the practice.
Not to mention the UK going into massive debt to pay for the slaves freedoms.
English

@opinion_black None of this true. Cos we were made In God's image
English

@RepFine Where did 250,000 figure come from
You do a disservice to the victims and the truth by hyping up figures
English

@CraigAccused @OBFred92 @stevebrookstein @englishLDN They chose to treat their ppl like that while building the town in their own name with statutes
The same town most ppl did actually benefit from in the long run
English

@OBFred92 @stevebrookstein @englishLDN The height of the empire was also the height of poverty in the UK.
Read some Charles Dickens.
English

@MallyB30725 @stevebrookstein @englishLDN What resources was that when most working ppl by their own ppl were treated in humanely and destitute
English

@stevebrookstein @englishLDN England had its own resources and working class labour force
English

@minority_global @stevebrookstein @englishLDN How do u know that
And anyhow...
Black ppl are animals and so uncivilised that knowing this white ppl thought they would copy a race where everything they do is wrong and backwards by doing same thing
By doing a barbaric act themselves
Make it make sense
English

@stevebrookstein @englishLDN what wealth come from slave labour to the people who did not own slaves? The people who benefited from slave labour were the African sellers (blacks who sold other blacks) and the new owners
English

@stevebrookstein @englishLDN What do you mean the wealth coming in.
The working class didn't have the wealth you idiot.
English

@englishLDN @stevebrookstein Come on u're not 2 Even a 2Yrold wouldn't buy this shit
So they did a mercy trip 4 benefit of colonies where they stole resources & made incalculated amounts of money to make their land rich(by the way isn't that the reason you idiot) while taking personal autonomy of ppl
English

@stevebrookstein The colonies benefited more from the empire than the average British citizen where would they be without the abundance of technology, railways, medicine, rule of law etc that the British implemented,it cost more to prop up the empire than than the average citizen got out of it
English

@MakeSenseMarie By that same thinking we should judge white ppl by their behaviour
Grown white ppl acting like rabid dog with vein bursting from their face and neck as they shouted at children children just wanting to go to school

This woman says, “I’m just gonna come right out and say this as a White girl.
It is not the color of your skin that we are tired of.
It is your culture.
It is the way you behave.
And you can call me racist all you want to.
We are tired of the loud, violent ghetto culture that seems to be primarily from people of color.
It is not the color of your skin”.
For years, White people have been fed a false narrative that tells us to ignore pattern recognition and to go against our gut instinct to stay away from things that harm us because it’s considered ‘racist’.
Pattern recognition is not racism.
It’s a fundamental part of our biological makeup.
The terms ‘racist’ and ‘White supremacy’ have been weaponized against White people to stop us from being proud of our history/culture and to make us feel shame and guilt for the past.
And they call us ‘racist’ to justify their violence against us
We don’t care if we’re called racist anymore.
Preserving our safety and way of life is all that matters now.

@SDwyer74 @MakeSenseMarie Why do they hate white ppl
Isn't it a response to racism and brutality for centuries
English

@MakeSenseMarie Funny cos I thought slavery segregation was based on the colour of skin

Elon Musk: ”I think there are great things in every culture. We don’t want the German culture to disappear. We don’t want French culture to disappear. We don’t want Korean culture to disappear, or Japan, or America, or anywhere.
I think we should be very cautious about having some sort of global mixing pot, because every place will be the same, and there won’t be any unique cultures in the world. Which I think would make the world worse.
So I think we need to preserve these country cultures, and that’s the future that I think is better. I think that most people would agree is better. We shouldn’t have cultures disappear.
And currently, based on the current birth rates and the sort of so-called multiculturalism and globalism, what we’re actually seeing is the dilution of individual cultures and the destruction and death of individual cultures, which I think is terrible for the future.”

@CarpathianMts @travelingflying Racism? Have you seen how many nonwhite people he hires? He has children that aren't White for goodness' sake.
English

@johoshua @CarpathianMts @travelingflying That's what racist do pretend they didn't bring up race bit talk in disgenious code
English

@CarpathianMts @travelingflying No no it's not. You're the racist because you bring up race and that's all you can think about therefore you're a racist.
English

@AntiPho_Hunter @CarpathianMts @travelingflying YOU are broadcasting you're retardation loud and clear
English

@CarpathianMts @travelingflying I would say you’re trying to cover for your retardation, but it’s not working. You’re broadcasting it loud and clear.
English

@CarpathianMts @travelingflying That's a convenient virtue signal which actually makes you racist. If you are saying only coloured people want to move to where white people live, you are denigrating their country and culture being good enough to entice people there.
English

@TDL_24 @CarpathianMts @Jatkins0522 @travelingflying But this is the work of indigenous ppl to hide what they really mean
Of course he isn't going to say what he means
But it is clear
English

@CarpathianMts @Jatkins0522 @travelingflying He made a point, he didn't need to name every skin tone you drooling moron

@iqrafatma1278 What exactly are they being that is so corrupting

Be honest… Is this appropriate for mowing the lawn in a family neighborhood?
A neighbor has been regularly mowing her front yard in just a sports bra and very short shorts. At first, people tried to ignore it. But after months, several residents (including parents) say it’s starting to feel uncomfortable. Kids play outside, families walk by, and it’s become a topic of conversation in the neighborhood group chat.
The person who finally contacted the HOA said: “I’m not trying to police anyone’s body, but front yards aren’t private spaces. There’s a line between personal freedom and basic consideration for the community — especially when children are around.”
Now the big question for all of you:
Where do you stand on this?
• Should people be allowed to wear whatever they want in their own yard, even if it’s very revealing?
• Or does living in a family neighborhood come with some responsibility to be mindful of what kids and neighbors see?
• Is contacting the HOA “being a Karen,” or is it reasonable when multiple people feel awkward?
Be brutally honest in the comments 👇
• Men: Would you feel comfortable if your wife or daughter did this?
• Women: Would you mow the lawn dressed like this in front of the whole neighborhood?
• Parents: How would you feel if your young kids were playing outside while this was happening?
Personal freedom vs community standards — where’s the line?
