I've seen so many rainbows in Ireland and Scotland. Before this trip, the last time I had seen a rainbow on June 1, 2021 after I passed my private pilot checkride. That's how uncommon rainbows were in my life before this trip.

@MathTeachGuy The English teaching is through a work exchange program. So no financial gain, but it does cover meals and a bed for two weeks. The Austrian one will have compensation if it works out!

I can feel a shift happening with the way I'm traveling. Now that I've been on the road for a month, I'm ready to start making my travels more purposeful. Alongside teaching English in Spain, there's a chance I'll go to Austria to collect content for a grain mill company.

This was the best "float" in the Dragon of Shandon Parade in Cork, Ireland. Hands down. I will not be entertaining opposing viewpoints at this time.

So, I'm officially going to be teaching English next month in Spain as part of my adventures. I'm looking forward to trying a different way of traveling for a few weeks 😁

Getting to attend the Macnas Parade in Galway, Ireland was the absolute perfect way to enjoy the Halloween season. Why don't more places have big Halloween productions like this?

Wow. That dinner was like a warm hug. So absolutely delicious. If you're ever passing through Kilfinane, Ireland, I highly recommend stopping at Molly's for a bite.

Oh Faro 😍 Portugal, I have fallen in love with you and the friendships I've made here. While I'm saying goodbye tomorrow, it's only temporary. There's so much more of this beautiful country for me to explore. I promise I'll be back!

It is absolutely wild how many strong friendships I've made during each segment of my trip. Tonight, a Scot, an Aussie, another American and I went to a fair just a short walk from our hostel. It was such an incredibly fun night.

I feel so relaxed right now. The weather in Faro is wonderful. I'm attending a dinner with my hostel at their sister hostel tonight, and I might participate in the pub crawl. Cheers to 30 years circling this planet 🥂

Belfast was a short stay... Mostly because I want sunshine for my birthday tomorrow. So time to change it up and head to Europe before I return to explore Ireland some more.

Just gonna jump in the ocean and become a mermaid in Northern Ireland. I don't know why, but that seems like the thing to do. 🧜‍♀️
